Telecommunication The company Miran"" in early December 2011 began construction of the second stage of the data center in. Launch St. Petersburg is scheduled for mid-February 2012.
As part of the construction of the second stage of the data center, work will be carried out on retrofitting the premises with air conditioning systems and installing server cabinets.
The first stage of the Miran data center was launched in June 2010. To date, the occupancy rate is 100%. Among the tenants of the data center can be distinguished large hosting companies, telecom operators, content providers, banks, billing companies, real estate agencies, cable television operators.
"In St. Petersburg, the market segment of high-quality data centers is not completely saturated," says Igor Sitnikov, General Director of Miran Shopping Center. - It is worth noting that there are about 5 data centers ready to provide services with the quality corresponding to TIER III, so the construction of the second stage is quite justified. The UP-Time of the data center has been 100% since commissioning. The interest shown by potential tenants allows us to hope to fill the capacity of the second stage during the first two quarters of 2012. "
On October 5, 2012, the auditors of Deiteriy successfully completed certification tests of the Miran data center, which became the first PCI DSS-certified data center in northwestern Russia.
The certification check of the data center infrastructure was performed by Deiteriy QSA auditors and ended with the issuance of a certificate of compliance with the PCI DSS version 2.0 standard, according to the maximum Level 1 level for service providers.
The St. Petersburg Data Center, operated by the Miran Telecommunications Company, became the first PCI DSS certified platform in the northwestern region of the country. The emergence of a data center protected by international security standards is a response to the growing activity of the e-commerce and mobile commerce market in the region, which can become a catalyst for the further development of payment projects. Now companies that place their infrastructure on a certified site do not need to take care of meeting a significant part of the PCI DSS requirements themselves, since the data center takes responsibility for their implementation.
2024: RCloud by 3data platform placement
The RCloud by 3data platform is located in the Miran data center in St. Petersburg. The solution allows the cloud platform to place customer IT infrastructure in a strategically important region of the country. The 3Data (3Data) announced this on September 23, 2024. Read more here.

Additional UPS installed
On December 22, 2016, the company Delta Electronics complex supply project announced industrial UPS HPH 120kVA, air conditioning, power distribution, monitoring and installation racks data center at "."Miran
The Miran-1 data center has two 20 kVA racks. To ensure optimal power distribution inside the rack, it was necessary to install the appropriate power distribution units.
Selected and installed 4 PDUs of appropriate power from Delta Electronics.
Second stage
On February 15, 2016, Miran announced the commissioning of the 2nd stage of the Miran-2 modular data center in April 2016[1].
As part of the autonomous module 24 of the closed server cabinets 47U, the maximum allocated power of each cabinet is 14 kW. The capacity of the module is about 1 thousand servers. The volume of investments is 30 million rubles. In total, nine autonomous server modules will be installed in Miran-2, two of which in 2016.
On February 15, 2016, the initial stage of construction is completed - the assembly and delivery of the modular framework to the Miran-2 data center. Then the Miran engineers will begin assembling and "packaging" the autonomous module. The final stage is the launch and testing of systems.
The 2nd stage of the modular data center "Miran-2" will be put into commercial operation in April 2016. The total number of racks at the Miran sites will reach 190. At the same time, the press service of the company assures that most of the server cabinets in this module have been handed over to anchor customers on pre-orders.
The module is designed in accordance with standards Uptime Institute TIER III, equipped with uninterruptible power supplies, an electric board with transfer switch and the ability to connect a separate DGP, an independent cooling system.
