2018: Ultron of the HPH series power of a 160-200kv

On May 29, 2018 the Delta Electronics company provided uninterruptible power supply unit of average power of the Ultron family of the HPH series the power of a 160-200kv with double conversion of energy.

Ultron of the HPH (2018) series

The line of Ultron HPH covers the broad range of capacities — from 20 to 200 kVA. This model differs in the increased efficiency, the power and reliability and is intended first of all for mid-scale businesses, a telecom and financial institutions and also for the systems of industrial automation.

The Ultron online UPS family exists in the market long ago, and it is successfully implemented by the large Russian companies. During this time were implemented such projects with HPH series uninterruptible power supply units as:

• 4 FIFA stadiums for the World Cup 2018 on soccer use the UPS of the HPH series from 20 to 120 kVA

• MegaFon: in the new office building of the company in Moscow UPSes of the HPH series with a power of 120 kVA were installed.

• Maly Theatre: for protection of the crucial equipment in the State academic theater, Ultron family HPH series UPSes were selected.

• Shopping Center MEGA: in Yekaterinburg six three-phase UPSes the HPH series ensure continuous functioning of fire protection systems and travelators in one of shopping centers of the capital of the Urals.

• Miran: the source of HPH of 120 kVA ensures round-the-clock smooth operation of servers and also helps to solve problems of energy saving in data center Miran-2 of the St. Petersburg hosting company.

High efficiency in the AC-AC conversion mode (up to 96.5%)

Efficiency of this Ultron HPH model reaches 96.5% in the normal mode and 99% in the ECO mode. The electrical power factor at the output of the device is equal 1 (kVA = to kW); it means that Ultron HPH transfers to loading the maximum available power without decrease in rated characteristics.

High quality of the electric power (THDv <0,5 %)

The Ultron HPH UPS model generates less heat, provides the high level of efficiency and prolongs service life of the protected equipment.

Possibility of increase in total power to 1.6 MBA by parallel connection

Ultron HPH is suitable both for an autonomous configuration, and for configurations according to the scheme N+X with hot sparing. The multitire structure using which the level of reservation 2N is reached is also possible. The model of 160-200 kVA allows to connect up to eight devices, expanding power to 1.6 MBA without the additional managing hardware. Possibilities of adjustment of current and tension of charging allow to apply in the UPS of the battery of different types, and thanks to flexible selection of number of batteries expenses on them are optimized. Characteristics of Ultron HPH allow to meet the most different requirements for a configuration.

10-inch touch screen and convenient control functions

The model allows to browse up to 10 thousand log entries of events. Except the magazine on the touch screen information arriving from sensors of security systems, cooling and fire protection is displayed. An opportunity to obtain all this information directly on the UPS screen strongly facilitates work of service staff.

Reliability

UPSes of the Ultron HPH series are reliable in work thanks to reservation of key components; it is easy to service and replace electronic blocks through a front door of the device. The provided possibilities of diagnostics and preventive maintenance allow to predict and solve problems even before their emergence, reducing thereby operating costs. Functions of diagnostics are provided by the powerful mechanism of the analysis of keyword parameters which continuously register in the magazine. The built-in USB port simplifies procedures of updating of a firmware and allows to send the event log to external systems for the analysis.

2013: Ultron HPH with a power output of 20-40 kVA

The Delta Group company in June, 2013 announced release of Ultron HPH power sources with a power output of 20-40 kVA. According to the company, solutions equally effectively feed resistive and reactive loads (kva= with kW) and also have the AC-AC conversion efficiency, high for the industry — up to 96% (up to 99% in economy mode) that allows to transfer the maximum power to loading and by that to provide steady functioning of the crucial equipment.

Low harmonic distortions of a source (iTHD < 3 %) позволяют избежать расходов, связанных с защитой от передачи гармоник в питающую сеть, а технология цифровой обработки сигналов (DSP) позволяет сократить количество электронных компонентов, и, следовательно, частоту отказов системы.

Ultron HPH UPSes have with a rated power of 20/30/40 kVA with double conversion of energy and provide reliable protection of power supply. Sources of Ultron HPH are intended for ensuring steady functioning of small DPCs, industrial equipment, communications systems, computer networks, medical equipment and monitoring systems.

Sources of Ultron HPH which electrical power factor is equal to unit (quarter = to kV) are capable to work at load rating. It allows to increase power supply without decrease in rated power of a source thanks to what an effective power supply of loading and optimization of operating costs is provided. High rates of energy efficiency and power density of new UPSes are reached at the expense of the efficiency equal to 96% (in economy mode – 99%), and to low harmonic distortions on an input (iTHD < 3%).

Ultron HPH UPSes have with a power output from-40% to +20% during the work under trying conditions. Reliable power supply of loading is provided by the technology of digital signal processing (DSP) allowing to reduce quantity of electronic components which could fail. Smooth operation of the equipment is reached also thanks to the failsafe construction for mechanisms of management reducing risk of system failure.

Sources support different schemes of reservation: according to scheme N+1, independently, in the mode of hot sparing, etc. In the Ultron HPH UPS the firm ware UPSentry 2012 & ShutdownAgent 2012 using which it is possible to exercise remote control and control of a source via the web interface.
