Softline announces end of a pilot project on system implementation of communications based on Lync Server 2010 in National bank of the Kyrgyz Republic allowing to communicate jointly to use a desktop and applications, to work together in real time practically in any place usual.
Microsoft Lync Server 2010 is the new solution from Microsoft company which succeeded Office Communications Server, allowing to organize a single system of communication for improvement of interaction and the involvement of employees into workflows. The solution integrates all modern communication options: instant messaging, telephone calls, audio-and video conferences; supports integration with the existing infrastructure, expanding its functionality and if necessary completely replacing it.
Implementation of a pilot project of Microsoft Lync Server 2010 has several advantages: risks of the subsequent full implementing solution decrease, employees get practical experience of management and support of the solution by IT specialists. In addition pilot implementation allows to estimate functionality and to make the decision on need of full product introduction.
In National bank of the Kyrgyz Republic after negotiation with Microsoft corporation pilot system implementation of the joint communications - Microsoft Lync Server was carried out by 2010 forces of engineers of Softline. This software product allows to increase quality of communications, efficiency of joint work of employees and also to lower operating costs and to increase flexibility of work of IT infrastructure.
Project implementation included deployment of the pilot domain, installation of the Lync server of the version of Standard, setup of trusted relationships between working and pilot domains, creation of accounts for the users of the main domain participating in testing. Then the client of Microsoft Lync 2010 was set to users.
After completion of setup of a product specialists of Softline provided short personnel training, having shown possibilities of the solution: carrying out audio-and video conferences between employees, message exchange and files, joint work with documents.
