The ESET company, the international developer of antivirus software and solutions in the field of a computer security, announces delivery of 1500 licenses of anti-virus solution of ESET NOD32 Business Edition to the Siberian state transport university.
The Siberian state transport university – one of the leading technical colleges of Russia in the transport industry. Arisen as institute of engineers of railway transport, for the 77-year history SGUPS went a long way of development and became the largest educational complex of Siberia.
Active use of computers in educational activity of the university, the growing number of the visited Internet resources, a big variety of the applied anti-virus products on working PCs and lack of centralized operation by a security system led IT specialists of educational institution to the decision on the choice of the uniform corporate standard of antivirus protection.
As a result of comparison of anti-virus products from the most famous Russian and foreign developers by specialists of SGUPS selected the solution ESET NOD32 Business Edition. Reliability of antivirus software, a possibility of uniform centralized operation and a minimum load on system resources of the university became the defining factors of the choice.
