Project Completion
On August 28, 2012 the Homnet Leasing company announced end in "Iveko Capital of Russiya" of the project on development of managerial settlement and transfer of the information system "Homnet Leasing 8" to a distributed architecture — transfer of an accounting part of a system to the module "Accounting of the Leasing Company" developed based on the 1C: Accounting 8 configuration of edition 2.0.
Solution
In April, 2011 1C Company stopped support "1C: Accounting 8" of edition 1.6. In this connection "Iveko Capital of Russiya" made the decision on transition to the new version of the software package "Homnet Leasing 8" containing the module "Accounting of the Leasing Company" constructed based on the current version "1C: Accounting 8" of edition 2.0. At the same time it was necessary to increase functionality of a system regarding management accounting. Considering experience of long-term cooperation with company "Homnet Leasing", "Iveko Capital of Russiya" decided to start in parallel the project on development of managerial accounting and transition to new accounting.
Feature of the project was the fact that the new version of the solution "Homnet Leasing 8" has a distributed architecture: financial accounting and account according to IFRS is kept in one database, and managerial and operational — in another. Two parts of a system, accounting and operational, are connected among themselves by the integration module of data exchange. Advantages of such approach — decrease in load of the system of operational accounting, and selection in the separate system of the block requiring regular updates on new versions — "1C: Accounting".
The project on development of managerial settlement and transfer of accounting and tax accounting to a new solution began in July, 2011. In this connection, and one of the most labor-consuming project tasks data transfer of financial accounting, in particular, of opening balances for the beginning of 2011 and documents for January-November, 2011 in the new accounting module became separate.
During the project:
- mechanisms are developed for implementation of automatic transfer and data purification,
- setup of regular data exchange between managerial and accounting parts of the Homnet Leasing 8 system, including for the purposes of conducting managerial settlement is performed;
- the module "Homnet Leasing of IFRS" from a managerial part of the Homnet Leasing 8 system is transferred to the module "Accounting of the Leasing Company", all data on IFRS are transferred from a managerial part of a system to accounting. The block of corrections of the closed periods is implemented;
- the accounting functionality of a system is expanded: item accounting of OS on balance of the lessee, the procedure return of OS from balance of the lessee.
Within the project on implementation of managerial settlement:
- the functionality of formation of diagrams at stages of the conclusion and agreement cancelation, charge, forgiveness, discounting of a penalty fee, formation of managerial reconciliation statements is developed;
- recovery of accounting of managerial settlement for 4 years of a company performance is carried out.
In December, 2011 a system is brought into operation.
