Armada will create a management system for the open foreign exchange position for Sberbank of Russia

The Armada company announced a victory in tender of Sberbank of Russia on the right of development and deployment of the software package "Automated Control System for the Open Foreign Exchange Position" within the Improvement of Management of OVP project.
The CEO of Armada Kruglyakov Roman, speaking about the contract, noticed: "It is the significant and interesting project offering big prospects in further cooperation with the largest bank of the country. Management of the open foreign exchange position (a difference of requirements (assets) and obligations (liabilities) of bank in currency) even small bank — very uncommon task, and here is about a system which should integrate 17 territorial banks with thousands of regional departments and provide the centralized and coordinated management with their positions".
For the last year, according to experts of the market, the level of demand from participants of the banking market considerably grew by IT solutions. Sberbank on this background looks the undisputed leader on expenses on IT and also is one of the innovation players in the industry, says Armada. Sberbank is going to replace completely to the middle of 2013 all technology platform that, as expected, will allow bank to work in conditions, essentially new in terms of customer service. For accomplishment of this problem of investment into innovations in 2011 are predicted at the level of about 7-8% of the consolidated turnover of bank that corresponds to banks of the international level. At the same time the net profit of bank for 2010 was 181.6 billion rubles.
It is also necessary to note that Armada has big examination in the field of implementation of large integration projects and has considerable experience of joint work with Sberbank.
