About the Company

Ust-Katavsky Carriage Building Plant (UKVZ) named after S.M. Kirov is able to meet any need for tram cars with different gauge of 1000 mm, 1435 mm, 1520 mm with various control systems for traction electrical equipment (TISU, RKSU, KTSU), spare parts and service equipment.

As part of the conversion program, the production of shut-off and control valves, osediagonal screw units, and consumer goods was mastered.

The company has a high technical potential, has modern, complex flexible equipment and qualified specialists. The composition includes design departments with civil and defense themes. The products were awarded multiple diplomas and certificates.

The production of a large number of complex technical products is due to the use of modern technologies, such as:

• obtaining seamless sheet parts of the type of bodies of revolution;
• drop and draft the ends on the pipes and obtain seamless tees and coals,
• diffusion and decorative chrome plating in production of children's bicycles and serving tables, thermal-vacuum spraying in tool production and for making dentures, friction welding for tools.

In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation dated June 11, 2011 No. 772 and the Order of the Government of the Russian Federation dated July 7, 2011 No. 1159-r, the Federal State Unitary Enterprise Ust-Katavsky Carriage Building Plant named after S.M. Kirov was transformed into a branch of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise GKNPC named after Khrunichev
