2024: Establishing a Company

Roscosmos has created a manufacturer of equipment for refueling vehicles. The press service of the state corporation announced this in early January 2024.

We are talking about a joint venture Ust-Katavsky Carriage Building Plant (a subsidiary of Roscosmos) and EdAn Engineering. The new structure was called "RK Technologies." It will be engaged in the production and sale of container gas stations, fuel dispensers and pumping equipment. According to the press service of Roscosmos, full-fledged research and development work has already been carried out, as a result of which equipment has been obtained that surpasses foreign analogues in its characteristics.

Also, RK Technologies will develop solutions in the areas of filling fuel trucks, receiving fuel and supplying KAZS to both Roskosmos and infrastructure facilities. It is assumed that the new company will operate not only in the Russian Federation, but also in the markets of friendly countries.

The joint project of the Ust-Katavsky Carriage Building Plant and EdAn Engineering involves the implementation of the functions of a single operator for Roscosmos as part of the supply of equipment for accounting and issuing oil products, automation of transport refueling processes, which will achieve savings in fuel and lubricants costs.

As noted by Roscosmos, EdAn Engineering owns the NARA trademark and is the only manufacturer of NARA equipment, which is used at 70% of gas stations in Russia and the CIS, has been produced for more than 70 years and is used at facilities such as the Baikonur cosmodrome, the largest airports in Russia and in leading oil and gas companies. UKVZ offers various pumping equipment and cooperates with oil and gas industry companies from the Russian Federation and the EAEU countries.^[1]
