The Lukoil Oversiz holding implements a production management system

The Parma Telecom company completed implementation of the automated control system for production (ACSP) in an asset of Lukoil Oversiz Holding in the Republic of Uzbekistan – "Lukoil Uzbekistan Opereyting Company".

Task

Main goal of creation of ASUP in Lukoil Oversiz Holding is integration of assets into a common information space for the operational solution of production tasks on the scale of Holding, increase in efficiency of management decisions and optimization of management of production processes.

About the Solution

The implementation project of a production management system in "Lukoil Uzbekistan" was implemented by Opereyting Company from October, 2010 to December, 2011. Subsystems of the project are constructed on the basis of the software of the known world vendors:

• to dispatching subsystem of PI-system, OSI Soft;
• to management subsystem drilling of WellView, Peloton;
• to subsystem of production accounting of Energy Components, Tieto.

Within the project specialists Parma Telecom developed the technical specifications, a data model and an operational model of future system, the prototype is configured, the software for each of subsystems is configured, integration testing is held. Necessary user interfaces are configured, primary training is provided. After trial operation the production management system was brought into commercial operation.

Result

For "Lukoil Uzbekistan Opereyting Company" system implementation of production management solved problems:

• the centralized operating control over production and support entities on fields;
• providing with methodology and tools for management and increase in efficiency of production processes of oil and gas production, preparation, transfer and delivery of products, maintenance of reservoir pressure;
• providing with methodology and tools for management and increase in efficiency of key processes of drilling;
• increases in efficiency and quality of the made management decisions;
• increases in accuracy of planning and efficiency of control of works;
• savings, updates, distribution, replications and uses of the structured production information;
• information support of the basic and auxiliary processes.

The production management system provides:

• automatic data acquisition of real time (parameter values of technology processes) in uniform storage (the database of real time) by means of interfaces with the PCS;
• viewing operational information by means of Web access and client applications;
• support of business processes and methods of calculation which will provide a possibility of carrying out high-quality distribution of production volumes by wells (on each product, the well, layer, etc.) and will be applicable within agreement settlements about the section of products;
• registration, monitoring and control of production processes of drilling, production, preparation and delivery of oil and gas, maintenance of reservoir pressure;
• formation of the procedural reporting meeting the state and corporate standards;
• management of unproductive time in drilling;
• management of losses.
