Content

The Eastwind transport company and SCOUT group completed equipment of vehicle fleet of the enterprise the system of satellite control SCOUT.

Task

For effective use of vehicles the logistics division of the company needed to control duration and a location of special equipment within the designated zone of loading and unloading taking into account an engine operation mode. In particular, an opportunity to trace indicators of operation of concrete mixers is very important for construction companies as at a delay in delivery of concrete it is necessary to stop building.

Taking into account high loading of the equipment in the afternoon and need to provide continuous process of supply of concrete, the mounting group of Vector-Auto company carried out equipment of transport to a short time, having organized works in day and night time.

Additions

During the project the software SCOUT was integrated with a 1C system. Thanks to it managers and logisticians of Eastwind company can obtain up-to-date data about movement of the car in a foreground mode, compare the planned and actual indicators of work of special equipment, make corrections to delivery plans of concrete on different objects.

Result

Now a system SCOUT is installed on 18 concrete mixers which make 2/3 vehicle fleets of the enterprise. The implemented solution proved the efficiency: along with reduction of a downtime of special equipment the quality of the performed works increased.

Opinion

The logistics specialist of Eastwind company, Oleg Vladimirovich Serebryakov, notes advantages of the implemented solution: "Using a System the SCOUT was succeeded to reduce outages of technology, to exclude the "left" runs and additions of a run thanks to what we increased quality of the rendered services".
