2017: Micro DPC of DataStone

On January 30, 2017 the Utilex company announced start of production of micro DPC from DataStone line. As a part of a complex: precision conditioners, compact Clever Breeze chillers.

The micro DPC of DataStone with liquid cooling is focused on maintenance of failsafe work of small IT infrastructures (up to 4 kW). The solution is focused on offices and representative offices of the geographically distributed organizations (banks, retail, state structures, etc.).

Micro DPC of DataStone – a complex of engineering infrastructure for placement and ensuring failsafe work of information and/or telecommunication systems. The solution is executed in the separate construct adapted for transportation by all means of transport.

Externally the DPC represents a cabinet 42 (48)U, with the precision conditioners and the engineering systems (the UPS, power distribution, AUGPT) located inside.

Development of "Utilex" has characteristics of solutions of DataStone:

• protection of IP65,
• completely closed loop of precision cooling and humidity monitoring,
• system of noise reduction,
• modularity,
• system of remote monitoring and management.

The system of precision cooling acts on the basis of the energy efficient liquid cooler:

• Use of the conditioner on chill water ensures functioning throughout the most part of year in the territory of Russia. It reduces energy consumption (the maximum energy consumption of a conditioning system of 700 W at removal of 4 kW of heat), increases a resource of operation of the cooling system.
• The scheme of cooling allows to increase admissible distance from an installation site of DPC to the chiller.
• Provides readiness 2N on a cooling factor, borrowing 8U.

Start in operation of the first DPCs of DataStone with liquid cooling is planned for the end of January – the beginning of February, 2017.

2012: DataStone

The Utilex company announced in February, 2012 start of a new product - small-size DPC with a closed loop of air cooling of DataStone. Thanks to this solution the specialized data processing center is located in one small climatic cabinet with dimensions no more 65*130*210sm now.

Fast business development requires rapid response to changes including timely ensuring the growing volume of transactions with necessary computing powers and a storage system. However the organization of a large-scale data processing center which could satisfy these requirements involves considerable finance and time expenditure. Therefore the increasing demand in the market is purchased by the small-size centers of data transmission which main competitive advantages become: ease of the choice of the area for placement of DPC, short terms of commissioning, simplicity and low cost of service.

At the same time naturally there is a need to combine all these qualities with high fault tolerance and equipment capacity. This problem is completely solved by a new product of Utilex company – the small-size DPC of DataStone which is specially developed for creation of infrastructure with high fault tolerance geographically distributed and the isolated organizations, including in the conditions of lack of the specialized areas.

The infrastructure solution DataStone with a closed loop of air cooling completely meets modern requirements of the market and opens ample opportunities for the companies for which it is necessary:

Advantages of DataStone are small dimensions (less standard doorway) and weight, the low level of the made noise, ensuring heat extraction from work of DPC out of borders of the premises and also the automatic fire-extinguishing system - allow to place the solution in the conditions of the limited areas, including in premises in which the personnel work.

The high fault tolerance of work MTSODA is provided by the organization of a redundant conditioning system and uninterrupted power from the built-in additional sources. Besides the solution has modular construction with the conventional replaced components and is equipped with a monitoring system and notifications about operating condition of each of components.

The DPC in a Corridor project is similar to the project of Cisco Cisco Containerized Data Center company: the modular data processing center is put into the big box protected from adverse weather conditions. This mobile solution with an open architecture allows to set DPCs in very economic way and also provides storage and data processing in case of accidents or during the work in remote areas.

Simplicity and efficiency of start of DataStone in operation is reached due to providing with standard interfaces for connection to network and external blocks of cooling.

The collected cabinet has wheel support which allow to move without effort it indoors. Construction of DataStone allows to bring easily and quickly World Data Centres into operation, to guarantee high fault tolerance of a system, to use the solution in the conditions of scarce office space, in case of need, quickly to transport it on the new place.
