Services of a hosting, SaaS and IaaS Kazakhtelecom are provided on the basis of Parallels Automation

On February 17, 2012 in Orlando, the USA Kazakhtelecom was mentioned as the partner of year of Parallels company in emerging markets thanks to the successful strategy of gaining the market of a hosting and lease of applications. It it was announced during Parallels Summit 2012 – the leading action in the field of cloud computing which passes in Orlando (USA) now. Services of a hosting, lease of applications (SaaS) and infrastructure (IaaS) are provided on the basis of the Parallels Automation platform set in data centers of Kazakhtelecom.

The project of Kazakhtelecom and Parallels started in 2008 for the purpose of entry of the operator into the fast-growing market of a hosting and ensuring leadership on it. At the moment the operator is the hoster, largest in the country, controlling more than 50% of the market of a hosting of Kazakhstan and servicing more than 30% of the websites of the domain zone .kz.

Based on the platform of automation Parallels "Kazakhtelecom" starts lease of mail services from Microsoft (Hosted Exchange) and services for joint work (Hosted SharePoint). Also the services of lease of virtual infrastructure (IaaS) implemented using the module Parallels Automation for Cloud Infrastructure – the solution which was created within the project about Skolkovo are in process of implementation.

Small and medium business for reasons of economy and efficiency gradually refuses deployment of IT services at the capacities and rents these services at the specialized companies. From suppliers of services, key for the small companies (lease of servers, a hosting and services for communications and joint work) telecoms become "transport system" for cloud providers. To provide to clients the most complete and demanded sentence, telecommunication companies should become suppliers of cloud services.
