The solution is from two subsystems. The first subsystem (Parallels Operations Automation) is intended for automation of all stages of providing cloud services and applications - from management of services to the system of self-service of clients. The second subsystem (Parallels Business Automation) is intended for automation external business of processes - it is about order placement, management of accounts, payments, drawing of accounts, etc.

Parallels Automation use more than 250 service providers on all to the world. The development plan for a system therefore hundreds of important changes which make offer service provider more attractively in the opinion of their clients are entered to the new version was approved with each of these companies and it is more convenient in use. One of considerable innovations of a system – is easy to add a feature in the tariff plans services on the basis of Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 and Microsoft Office Communications Server and also the list from more than 50 most popular SaaS-applications in Russian. Parallels Automation 5.2

Version 5.2 of the Parallels Automation platform provides support of key "cloud" services Microsoft. The Parallels Automation platform will be widely used for sale of a packet of Microsoft Office to 365 end customers through network of the syndicated partners. Parallels and Microsoft intend to cooperate in area of vertical cloud solutions for health sector, having invested $5 million in the project.

The most full support of "cloud" products of Microsoft was put by the Parallels Automation platform at a stage of creation of version 5.2. As a result of Parallels Automation it is closely integrated with the Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization platform, a mail service of Microsoft Hosted Exchange, the solutions Microsoft SharePoint 2010, Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2010 and with software for management of virtual and physical mediums of Microsoft System Center. In the nearest future support of Lync Server 2010 will be provided. Along with this Parallels will spend more than $1 million within 12 months for development of an ecosystem of independent developers (ISV) on the Microsoft platform and assistance to it in "packaging" of the applications according to the APS standard. "Packaging" opens applications to any developer access to sale of the developments through more than 5 thousand service providers – partners of Parallels who service over 15 million small and medium companies worldwide.

Besides, Parallels Automation will become the Microsoft Office 365 delivery system. This "cloud" software package will be on sale in 40 countries through network of the so-called syndicated partners selected by Microsoft company. About a half of these partners already uses the Parallels Automation platform that considerably simplifies the solution of the organizational and technical issues connected with the beginning of distribution of Office 365. It also reduces terms of an output of a cloud service to the local markets from one year to several weeks.

Parallels Automation 5.4

Parallels Automation 5.4 is the platform for automation of cloud business of service providers and telecoms. With its help cloud-applications are ordered, established and configured via the Internet on the website of provider - the partner of Parallels; the platform also performs billing of the used resources and allows the end customer to manage a set of services independently, without the appeal to provider by phone or e-mail. Now thanks to support of the APS standard hundreds of hosted and cloud applicaions from vendors of software which target audience – the enterprises of small and medium business willingly using cloud applicaions for communications, resource management, client management, etc. are compatible to Parallels Automation.

2014

Support of Windows Azure Pack is included

On January 27, 2014 the Parallels company announced support of the Windows platform of Azure Pack used for application development in any programming language in a cloud.

The normal scenario of use Microsoft Windows Azure - lease of virtual infrastructure from data processing centers Microsoft, and support of the platform by the company Parallels will allow the hosting companies and service providers using the solution Parallels Automation to develop and sell opportunities Microsoft Windows Azure to end users from the data centers. Support Windows Azure Pack is implemented through the APS standard (Application Packaging Standard).

For Microsoft company it is, first of all, an opportunity to expand channels of distribution of the services.

Parallels Automation для Hosted PBX

Parallels Automation for Hosted PBX: services of virtual office PBX for SMB in lease is the ready-made solution allowing service providers of any sizes to render service of virtual office PBX on lease model. SMB are provided with opportunities of telephone communication of the corporate level without the need for physical installation of office telephone exchange. The partners using Parallels Automation can integrate it with own solutions on rendering services of office automatic telephone exchanges based on BroadSoft Broadworks or begin to resell similar ready services from Apptix, Alteva and Sipcom providers. They can also add to the shop cloud software on support of office automatic telephone exchanges from independent developers Infratel (Infra Cloud Receptionist), 4PSA.com (VoipNow) of Solgari who are certified according to the APS standard.

2015

there Was an updating of the Parallels Automation 6.0 platform

On March 16, 2015 the Parallels company announced release of updating of the platform of automation of cloud business of Parallels Automation 6.0.

In the new version the functionality for providers is implemented:

  • dynamic pricing,
  • direct migration with Exchange 2007 for 2013
  • advanced management tools accounts of clients with a large number of users and services.

The platform allows service providers to offer the clients the latests version of cloud services from Microsoft.

Improvements work in three key areas:

  • operation,
  • convenience of work
  • support of cloud services of Microsoft.

  • Possibility of transfer of an account between resellers and between clients without interruption in work of the services used by them
  • More difficult pricing models, including the differentiated pricing depending on the number of the services used by the client

Dell selected the Parallels Automation platform

The Dell corporation selected in the summer of 2012 the Parallels Automation platform for providing the cloud Microsoft Office software package to 365 companies of small and medium business. Thanks to it small and medium businesses can use services of mail, joint work over the calendar, service of editing documents, services of instant messages, web conferences from any portable or mobile device connected to the Internet. In the USA the monthly payment for one account makes from $9.

Support of Office 365 service in the product Parallels Automation was implemented along with release of the service by Microsoft company. The Parallels Automation platform carries out two tasks: reduces terms of integration of resellers into infrastructure of Microsoft by the principle of "Plug and Play" and provides rendering cloud services. The start of the cloud project of Dell took several weeks. The Parallels Automation platform was unrolled at the capacities of Dell located in data center of Microsoft. All user information is processed and stored on servers of Microsoft. Access to service is provided round the clock. As a result of Dell had an opportunity to resell the cloud applicaion of software giant, having filled up the product portfolio with new services.

Sales of cloud software of Microsoft at partners of Parallels grew by 72%

In December, 2013 the total number of the software licenses Microsoft Exchange and Office 365[[Microsoft Office 365|]] sold by partners of Parallels through the Parallels Automation platform exceeded one million, the company in February, 2014 reported. Sales growth in a year at the same time made 72%.

Parallels connects the consumption growth of cloud services with the fact that the solutions which are earlier used only by big corporate customers became available to the companies of small and medium business.

Add to the companies that on expectations of analysts of IDC, world costs for public cloud IT services by 2017 will reach nearly $108 billion - more than twice higher than an indicator of 2013 which made $47.4 billion. At the same time an essential part of this growing market is necessary on the solutions Microsoft (Exchange Office 365 Microsoft SharePoint Microsoft Lync Microsoft SQL i Microsoft CRM) provided by the telecommunication and hosting companies, registrars of domain names and distributors of cloud services.
