EDMS CompanyMedia is implemented in MCRBN

"The Moscow city broadcasting network" completed system implementation of electronic document management of CompanyMedia in 300 workplaces of employees for the purpose of document flow optimization.

In December, 2010 the management "Moscow City Broadcasting Network" (MCBN) initiated the implementation project of an electronic document management system of CompanyMedia designed to replace existing in the EDMS organization, also functioning on the Lotus Domino platform.

The system used earlier did not solve all problems of the e-document flow organization, in it many functions necessary for MCRBN were not implemented. To automate all dokumentooriyentirovanny business processes requiring it, to provide their information support, it was decided to pass to more suitable system - EDMS CompanyMedia. With its help it was also going to expand use of electronic document management, having included in it not only clerks and other staff of subject divisions, but also managers, to create conditions for effective electronic communications of business specialists, to provide information support of development and acceptance of management decisions.

Involvement in electronic document management of top managers of the company and also all necessary participants of business processes of the organization, providing using the system of operational and convenient interaction of heads and their subordinates, automatic control of execution of documents and instructions on them and also that is important, automation of new business processes - the solution of these tasks had to promote increase in speed of business transactions and increase in their efficiency.

For the organization of electronic document management licenses for "A universal workplace" and also the modules "Office-work", "Citizens' appeals", "Agreements", "Instructions", "Corporate Electronic Archive", "Center of Reports" were purchased.

Owing to the fact that users were well familiar with the Lotus Domino/Notes platform implementation of the system constructed on it took place quickly and without serious consequences. And employees, knowing the basic principles of work with the basic software, practically at once could start operation of the application software - the EDMS CompanyMedia having the intuitive interface. Several hours on user training directly in their workplaces which was carried successfully out by specialists of Federal State Unitary Enterprise Moscow City Broadcasting Network were required. If necessary consultations of experts of InterTrust company were used.

Also as preventive measure the agreement was signed with developer company of EDMS CompanyMedia on maintenance of a system. Today in CompanyMedia about 300 employees of the company, and both subject specialists, and middle managers and also top managers work. Connection to the system of all persons in need in it the employees for the purpose of providing effective conditions of their interaction with colleagues and accomplishment of the job responsibilities allows to speak about creation of the end-to-end electronic document management penetrating all structure of the company and being the necessary instrument of information support business protsesov.

Today the specialists connected to EDMS CompanyMedia in 80% of cases work with electronic documents. Of course, there are processing stages of documents requiring the "live" signature on a paper copy, but these stages, as a rule, are final: in their framework documents, for example, orders, are printed and signed by the corresponding official. But the main work with such documents (creation, distribution, approval and so forth) is conducted in electronic form.

A lot of work is carried out to areas of automation of contract activities (all cycle of work with agreements is automated, the possibility of their storage and sorting, representation and search in different criteria is created, the interrelation of electronic agreements with the acts corresponding to them, accounts invoices and other documents is organized).

Work of HR department is arranged and automated. Document handling, belonging to the utility payments made through MCRBN is transferred to an electronic form.
