Korotkevich Mikhail Zakharovich

Mikhail Zakharovich Korotkevich was born on August 18, 1956 in the settlement the White Birch of Trubchevsky district of the Bryansk region. After leaving school entered Moscow State Aviation Technological University of K.E. Tsiolkovsky which ended in 1978 with the diploma of the mechanical engineer.

Mikhail Zakharovich works for JSC Mil Moscow Helicopter Plant since September, 1978. Having begun to work as the engineer in department of the fuselage, participated in structural design of gliders of helicopters from Mi-26 to Mi-38, in 1982 became the design engineer of III, and then and II categories. In July, 1984 it is called in Armed forces of the USSR where served as the deputy commander of a company for a political part. Having demobilized in August, 1986, returned on the Moscow helicopter plant and continued work as the design engineer of the I category.

In 1990 Korotkevich was transferred to a position of the chief designer of experimental design bureau of JSC Mil Moscow Helicopter Plant. In 1993 became the chief designer of the I category. In November, 1997 it is appointed the program manager – the deputy chief designer for the helicopter Mi-28H. Under its management all stages of creation of this helicopter - from the outline sketch and the model before the first take-off are passed.

In 1999-2000 M.Z. Korotkevich holds a position of the deputy chief designer with fulfillment of duties of the chief of experimental design bureau of JSC Mil Moscow Helicopter Plant. In 2000-2002 it is appointed the chief of JSC Mil Moscow Helicopter Plant of experimental design bureau.

From 2002 to 2005 M.Z. Korotkevich became the deputy CEO for production organization, the Deputy Chief designer. Since 2005 – the Deputy CEO for production organization. In 2007 Korotkevich is transferred to a position of the First Deputy CEO - the technical director.

For high professionalism, merits in creation, mastering of serial production and operation of the new M. Korotkevich aircraft equipment "The honorary employee of MVZ of M.L. Mil" is awarded the order by "For Merits before the Fatherland of the II Degree", a medal "In Commemoration of the 850th Anniversary of Moscow", a distinction.

Since February 6, 2008 M.Z. Korotkevich holds a position of the Chief executive of JSC Mil Moscow Helicopter Plant. Its tasks is the leadership in the activity of the enterprise directed to creation new and upgrade of the existing helicopters of the Mi brand, improvement of its aftersales service and also development of training aids of crews and technical service staff.
