Content

Task

  • carrying out everyday data analysis;
  • full automation of processes of data collection and processing for calculation of key performance indicators;
  • introduction of powerful tools of data visualization.

Large volumes of data complicated operational obtaining reliable, clear and evident information about activity of the company. Because of a huge number of the airlines which are constantly renewed and changing between terminals it was difficult to calculate financial performance. The available visualization tools could not display sufficiently dynamics of indicators, and employees were loaded by a huge number of analytical work.

Choosing a Solution

Staff of BI Expert developed a demonstration example on the basis of Microsoft Performance Point Server which considerably facilitated processing of data and also:

  • automatic recalculation of financial performance is configured;
  • monitoring panels are developed for sharing on the corporate website;
  • interactive forms are developed for work of end users in MSexcel;

Result

Thus, the staff of the company, being on the corporate website in real time could obtain all necessary information. Also the openness and availability of results to certain user groups was provided. The possibility of viewing data in a report form which is formed in the form of the analytical table and the analytical chart and allows to browse all data in dynamics was implemented. Huge information volumes were systematized and it became much easier to manage them. Thanks to the intuitive interface the staff of the company quickly adapted to a new system.
