Content

To achieve its strategic goals, Sberbank plans to use an automated distance learning system within the framework of the Business Environment project. Based on the initial (maximum) contract price proposed by Sberbank in the tender documents, the bank's costs for this system (licenses + support) can amount to 200 million rubles. per year (for more details, see below).

System tasks

Now Sberbank has distance learning systems for use by bank employees, Victor Orlovsky, senior vice president of the bank, told TAdviser. "The system used in the bank was created to train employees and is not suitable for the tasks that Sberbank sets in the business environment (training on a paid basis)," he notes.

As part of this competition, the bank wants to receive SaaS for training customers/prospects. The service is significantly superior in function to the system currently used by the bank for corporate training. This service is the first to be launched as part of the Business Environment program.

Contractor selection

The subject of the competition held by Sberbank was the choice by the bank of a service for remote training of customers and potential employees of the bank, as well as an integrator company that will configure this service in accordance with the needs of the bank.

On March 2, 2012, following the results of the first stage of the competition, Sberbank identified applicants for the implementation of the system. They became:

The result of the competition should be announced on March 16, 2012.

Participant Assessment Criteria

The tender committee evaluates and compares the bids and ranks them based on the following criteria:

  • Cost parameters;
  • Roadmap for the creation, launch and development of the service;
  • Content content;
  • Demonstration of the solution.

During the study of the proposals of the participants (including presentations and demonstrations of prototypes), the working group will additionally assess the compliance of the proposed solutions with the information presented at the first stage of the competition. In case of discrepancies identified, the Working Group shall have the right to reduce the Participant's overall rating for the second stage of the tender (by recalculating the rating of the first stage and proportionately reducing the overall rating of the second stage); and in case of significant discrepancies - stop consideration of the bidder's proposal with its disqualification as a bidder.

The winner is the participant who offered the best competitive offer.

Cost

As stated in the tender documentation of Sberbank, in terms of licenses (for the target range of users - 200-300 thousand), the cost of providing service per user should not exceed 600 rubles. per year. In terms of setting up the service - no more than 20 million rubles. per year.
