The Vneshtorgbank bank completed upgrade of nodes of access for the branches

The CROC company completed the project of upgrade of nodes of access to Parent organization in 55 VTB Bank branches of JSC.

Solution

The basis of the solution of the upgraded standard node of access of branch was formed by routers, switches and firewalls of production of Cisco Systems company.

The project was implemented in eight months without stopping of bank services.

Opinion

"The strategy of VTB bank is directed to growth of profitability of regional offices and their transformation into modern customer-oriented divisions. For achievement of these purposes the staff of branches should have continuous access to the centralized banking applications and an opportunity to quickly find necessary information. Therefore that uninterrupted communication of branches with a corporate information network of Bank was provided, the organization of the failsafe, reserved network infrastructure is required" — Dmitry Nazipov, the Head of Department of IT – the senior vice president of VTB bank noted.

"By the time of start of the project in network infrastructure of separate branches of VTB telecommunication equipment of c was used by insufficient functionality, standardization of schemes of the nodes of access which are not corresponding to standard architecture was required. The main task which faced specialists of CROC in this project consisted in upgrade of network equipment in branches of VTB in the territory of Russia – from the Far East to Kaliningrad. As a result the customer received the solution providing the high level of fault tolerance of important components of network infrastructure of branch" — Maxim Korneev, the director of corporate customers of CROC company told.
