The asset management system of software is implemented at "The Angarsk polymer plant"

Softline implemented technology of management of program assets of SAM in JSC Angarsk Polymer Plant.

Solution

According to Vladimir Razuvaev, the Head of Department of SAM of Softline company, the main objective in this project the company saw establishing order in the field of management of program assets. The situation in the company at that time when project implementation began, allowed to determine the SAM level as basic which is characterized by lack of the adjusted processes.

In the project progress specialists of Softline executed inventory of the used software and implemented technology of management of program assets (SAM) that will allow the enterprise not only to reduce legal risks and to competently plan the IT budget in the future, but also to raise the security level and productivity of work of IT infrastructure of the plant in general. Upon completion of the project specialists of Softline trained the staff of IT department of the plant in necessary skills and working methods with the used means of the automated inventory.

Result

By the time of completion of implementation of SAM technology in the organization, according to the international standard ISO/IEC 19770-1: To SAM Processes regulating requirements to management of licenses the level of the corresponding system of JSC Angarsk Polymer Plant was determined as rationalized.

According to the results of the project of the party claim that the priority tasks facing IT department of JSC Angarsk Polymer Plant are executed completely. As a result of implementation of SAM technology general audit of the used software of the plant is made, the uniform base of documents of title on it on the basis of a software module of Softline Asset Management Module is created.
