Education

Graduated from Moscow Institute of Petrochemical and Gas Industry majoring in the mechanical engineer.

Career

In Thermal networks worked since 1982. Consistently there passed the labor way from the duty engineer, the general foreman, the chief engineer and the chief of the operational area to the First Deputy CEO – the Chief engineer of JSC Moscow Heat Distribution Company.

Rotmistrov Ya.G. managed to adjust high-quality study and implementation at the enterprise of energy-saving technologies, modern methods of diagnostics of pipelines and the equipment. As a result significantly losses of thermal energy and the heat carrier decrease, on a reliable and accident-free basis heat supply of the capital megalopolis is performed, terms of carrying out opressovochny works and disconnection of consumers from hot water supply during summer repair campaigns are systematically reduced.

The operating experience which is saved up by Rotmistrov Ya.G. for years of a labor activity and reliability augmentation of thermal networks is demanded not only the Moscow colleagues, but also power engineering specialists of other regions of Russia and the abroad. Rotmistrov Ya.G. performs a continuous communication and interaction with the city organizations and Government of the city of Moscow, represents JSC Moscow Heat Distribution Company at the international conferences and scientific and practical actions. Is the board member of JSC Moscow Heat Distribution Company.

In September, 2012 received a position of the CEO of JSC Moscow Heat Distribution Company.

On November 16, 2012 it became known that the Mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin appointed Yakov Rotmistrov the CEO of state unitary enterprise of Moscow on operation of communication collectors Moskollektor. As reported in the city administration, the employment contract with Rotmistrov is concluded for three years.

The former CEO SUE Moskollektor Gennady Mosin is exempted from the position on own initiative, RIA Novosti reports.
