Kazan Open Source automates work with Directum

At the beginning of 2012 the first stage of an implementation project of the DIRECTUM ESM-system in Kazan Open Source, the largest construction holding of the Republic of Tatarstan started.

The Kazan construction production association is the construction holding in the Republic of Tatarstan created as a result of consolidation of the enterprises of the construction industry and the construction companies of TAIF holding. The company performs large projects of construction of industrial and social and civil facilities.

Increase of production capacity of the company and expansion of a branch network led to complication of its business processes. Maintenance of efficiency at high growth rates demanded optimization of interaction between the staff of the company, gain of quality control and terms of the performed works. For the purpose of implementation of this task the management of Kazan Open Source decided to begin workflow automation and the main directions of interaction based on an ESM-system.

The choice of system provider was performed on ONLINECONTRACT electronic marketplace. As a result of the held tender preference was given to the DIRECTUM system and the Certified partner of DIRECTUM company – MT Group. Presence at MiTek company of experience in area of workflow automation and recommendations from the enterprises of the Republic of Tatarstan had a great influence on the choice.

The implementation project of a system is decided to be separated into two stages. Within the first stage formation in the company of uniform culture of document flow, the organization between departments and branches of the internal interaction connected with document handling was planned. At the second stage it is going to implement the business solutions intended for effective implementation of project and construction activity.

The first stage of the project starting in January, 2012 is directed to process automation:

• registration of the entering, outgoing, internal documents, control of execution of instructions;
• works with the organizational and administrative documentation (OAD): memos and also orders and orders on primary activity.

According to the results of carrying out consulting in the company of Kazan Open Source as independent division the department of office was selected. The organization of work of clerks became an additional task within the first stage of the project.

Process automation is decided to be performed using functionality of Basic system modules of DIRECTUM and the solution "Classical Office-work". At the moment in the Center of the certified training of DIRECTUM of MiTek company training of the staff of Kazan Open Source entering into the working group of the project is finished.

Implementation of EDMS will allow the company to organize and structure business processes, to increase document flow speed, to provide control over execution of tasks and instructions. Within the second stage of an implementation project Kazan Open Source is going to make integration into the 1C:Enterprise 8 system and also to expand functionality with business solutions Contract management, Project management and Management of tenders.
