Since 1981 - the master, the control master at the electromechanical plant "Burevestnik" (Gatchina of the Leningrad Region).

1983 - 1990 - the manager of organizational department, the first secretary of the Gatchina city committee of the All-Union Leninist Young Communist League.

Since 1986 - the head of department, the secretary of the Leningrad regional committee of the All-Union Leninist Young Communist League.

In 1990 became the secretary of the Leningrad regional committee of Komsomol.

1990 - the assistant of department of foreign economic relations of the Leningrad regional council of People's Deputies.

In 1991 - became the partner of Alexander Nesis (No. 39) and Alexey Gudaytis (No. 183), supervised transport and logistic projects in the IST group.

In 1993 - became one of founders of IST joint-stock company ("Investments, Construction, Technologies"), further participated in creation of JSC MNPO Polymetal.

Since 1993 - held executive positions in the companies entering into the IST group; deals with issues of interaction with federal and regional authorities.

Since 1995 - the president, the CEO of Inkotek Ltd.

Since 1998 - the chairman of the board of directors of JSC Inkasbank, the CEO of Petrolloys Ltd, the member of Public council of St. Petersburg.

1998 – 2001 - the vice chairman of the board Fonda of development of St. Petersburg and North-West Region.

1998 - 2005 - the CEO of PromTekhInvest Ltd.

2002 - 2003 - the CEO, the board member of Novye promyshlennye tekhnologii LLC.

In 2003 - 2006 - was a Member of the Supervisory Board of JSC Nomos-bank.

Since 2004 - the board member of JSC Nomos-bank, indirectly controls 7.11% of voting shares of JSC Nomos-bank.
