A SRM system in directorate on purchases of Lukoil MFA-Ist Ltd

The implementation project of a SRM system is executed by a command as a part of representatives of directorate on purchases Lukoil of MID-IST of LTD., consulting company "Parma Telecom" and service of system administration LUKOIL-INFORM. For quality control of implementation experts of SAP CIS were attracted.

The project was performed within implementation of the integrated information system Lukoil of MID-IST of LTD. including implementation of project management systems, finance, purchases, repairs, document flow supports.

A SRM system is implemented on the basis of module SAP SRM 7.01 and includes the following functionality:

• management of the register of the prequalified suppliers;
• competitive purchases by method of a request of commercial offers;
• competitive purchases by method of carrying out electronic two-envelope tenders.

At system implementation integration with the accounting system based on SAP ERP is implemented.

As the standard the international industry qualifier of materials and services in the oil and gas industry of FPAL (First Point Assessment) is selected and implemented. The international qualifier of FPAL is used for a categorization of the purchased goods and services and also for classification of suppliers.

Implementation of SRM allowed to reach Lukoil of MID-IST of LTD. of the following main business effects in purchasing activity:

• Reorientation of purchasers to strategic purchases and work with the market due to expansion of base of suppliers and reduction of time and labor costs on routine and small purchases.
• Increase in transparency and controllability of procurement process due to standardization of procedures, ensuring confidentiality of data and storage of records about the actions made in a system by participants of procurement process.
• Increase in competition of purchases.

The director of the organization of purchases and contracts Lukoil of MID-IST of LTD., Beltyukov Ivan Vsevolodovich noted: "Implementation of SRM allowed to implement tasks of process optimization and to provide openness and transparency of purchases. Use of SRM increased competition of purchases due to attraction of bigger number of suppliers and accelerated procurement process due to failure from "paper" work".

Distribution of a system of electronic procurement of SAP SRM is planned for assets of Lukoil Oversiz Holding in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and other countries.
