Process automation of management of IT for Fozzy Group

The OmniWay company declared in April, 2012 successful project finish on process automation of management of IT in Fozzy Group company – the leader of retail in Ukraine which state totals about 40,000 employees.

In connection with rapid business development Fozzy Group was faced the need to optimize existing and to develop new management processes of IT.

For implementation of these tasks the management of group in October, 2011 invited OmniWay company. Works were performed according to the recommendations of ITIL, as the automation system the OMNITRACKER system was selected.

The project covered the following management processes:

  • incidents and service requests.
  • configurations.
  • changes.
  • service layer.

Among features of implementation it should be noted a set of interesting technical solutions:

  • processing of the automated service requests (integration with the systems "Rubicon", "Assistant", "Web-Tabel", "1C", software Loyalty);
  • the mechanism of approval of the automated service requests;
  • integration into the Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager and Microsoft System Center Operations Manager systems;
  • implementation of the operational reporting based on Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services.

Since March, 2012 the OMNITRACKER system is in full implemented in commercial operation and brilliantly copes with the tasks assigned to it.

Thanks to the implemented project the following objectives are achieved:

  • optimization of the existing IT processes;
  • accounting and control of the arriving addresses (the number of the processed addresses on average fluctuate per day from 950 to 1100);
  • decrease in time of processing and accomplishment of addresses;
  • quality control of the provided IT services;
  • operational obtaining necessary information for acceptance of management decisions;
  • simplicity and convenience of submission of addresses to business users.

As the OMNITRACKER system is the universal platform for process automation of management, to it show interest and representatives of business divisions. In plans of Fozzy Group to use the capacity of OMNITRACKER for the solution of business challenges. It significantly reduces total cost of ownership and considerably increases return from investments.
