"EVER of Neuro Pharm" completes the project of automation of corporate accounting and management

The Navicon company completed the next stage of automation in pharmaceutical company "EWER of Neuro Pharm". All operational activity of the company including management of finance – accounting, tax and management accounting, will be performed based on the Microsoft Dynamics AX system.

"EVER Neuro Pharma GmbH" is the international company which is engaged in development, production and sale of pharmaceutical medicines. The leading medicine of the company - Tserebrolizin - the means recognized around the world for treatment of a stroke, dementia and craniocereberal injuries. The trade missions of the company work more than in 50 countries of the world.

In Russia the company is represented by two legal entities: local representative office of "EWER Neyro Pharm Gmbh" which promotes medicines, and the trading company EVER Neyro Pharm LLC performing wholesales. According to requirements of the headquarters the decision on system implementation of Microsoft Dynamics AX which is used at head office of the company was made. To select the contractor for this project, "EVER of Neuro Pharm" organized the tender in which Navicon won a victory, having shown considerable experiment of successful automation of leading enterprises of the pharmaceutical industry among which such companies as Nycomed, Novartis, GE Healthcare, Servier, Proclinic, Ferring Pharmaceuticals.

Within a preparatory stage specialists of Navicon carried out requirements analysis of the client and developed design of future system.

The project is decided to be performed in several stages, depending on the customer's priorities. At the first stage of the project the following functional areas of a system were brought into commercial operation (regarding primary activity):

• settlings with clients;
• settlings with suppliers,
• management of warehouse stocks;
• banking activities;
• accounting settings (mepping) according to requirements of the headquarters (for above-mentioned areas).

With system implementation management of the headquarters had an opportunity to obtain necessary information by cost centers, employees, goods items and categories.

Within the second stage of the project the following areas of a company performance will be automated: inventory management (the materials which are not relating to the main goods); fixed asset accounting; accounting of the VAT, income tax, property tax, transport tax; personnel records and settlings with personnel and also settlings with medical representatives. The project will come to the end with automation of reporting on accounting and tax accounting.

2013. Final phase

The contractor completed complex business process automation of the customer on the Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 platform.

Aspects

During the project are automated:

• settlement with clients and suppliers;
• inventory control, purchases, sales;
• banking activities, integration with the client banks;
• accounting and tax accounting according to requirements of the legislation of the Russian Federation;
• personnel records and payroll;
• settlings with advance holders (medical representatives);
• setup of management accounting according to corporate requirements.

Feature of the project - the requirement of head office: top management also the analyst wishes to create independently necessary financial statements by corporate accounts.

"For the solution of this task specialists of Navicon configured a mepping of the chart of accounts (delivered to accounts of the Russian accounting in compliance corporate account codes) and performed necessary tuning the analyst. Now, thanks to access to the Russian database, specialists of the headquarters can quickly prepare the corporate reporting on all company and also analyze work of the Russian representative office" - Denis Smirnov, the IT manager of representative office of "EWER Neyro Pharm Gmbh" noted.
