The Nizhny Novgorod branch of 1C-Rarus company completed the project of creation of an end-to-end information system in GP NO "Nizhegorodpassazhiravtotrans" on the 1C:Enterprise 8 platform. In uniform space work of Head-office and the branches located on three platforms of the city of Nizhny Novgorod is joint. 400 jobs are in total automated.

Thanks to implementation of the 1C: Accounting 8 CORP program preparation of the regulated and corporate reporting is considerably accelerated, the quality of credentials is increased. Using the "1C: Payroll and HR Management 8" program the HR policy at the enterprise is unified, payroll of employees is accelerated. The management system for treasury allowed to strengthen control of financial flows and to increase quality of planning of money. "1C-Rarus: Control of motor transport. Passenger traffic and the taxi" is provided by uninterrupted operation of work of motor transport.

GP NO "Nizhegorodpassazhiravtotrans" is the company servicing city social bus routes of Nizhny Novgorod. In the park the enterprise has more than 800 high-capacity buses for service of the city and suburban routes located on three platforms of Nizhny Novgorod. More than 4000 people work at the enterprise.

Earlier at the enterprise there was no unified information system. Accounting and personnel records in head-office and branches were conducted in local and diverse information systems. Due to the lack of automatic data exchange between divisions, managerial reports formed manually and very slowly. As a result, acceptance of management decisions on development of the enterprise was complicated that became negative to affect over time efficiency of its work.

For the solution of transport tasks each branch used programs of own development, at the same time accounting of repairs was not automated, and calculations of the purchasing budget were conducted manually on the basis of approximate data on an average expense of units, nodes and other materials.

The lack of a possibility of tracking of linear buses on their status prevented to plan loading of transport quickly. Between blocks of transport and personnel records there was no communication that complicated payroll of drivers of buses, conductors and also other employees working on a price-work wage system.

The management of the enterprise made the decision on the beginning of the project on implementation of a corporate information system.

Stepanov Eduard Vladimirovich tells about project objectives, the CEO of GP NO "Nizhegorodpassazhiravtotrans", – "A main goal was centralization of accounting and management at the enterprise. We needed a system which would allow to integrate all types of accounting, to facilitate process of formation of the regulated reporting, to keep uniform transport account in all branches, to plan repair and a consumption of fuel and lubricants, to unify the HR policy and to calculate the salary of employees in a single system".

The project provided consecutive automation of key business processes based on software products of 1C:

  • 6. Operational management of requests and addresses ("1C: Itil.Upravleniye information technologies of enterprise 8 ")
  • 7. Budgeting ("1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8")
  • 8. Management of documents ("1C: Document Flow 8. CORP")

The Nizhny Novgorod branch of 1C-Rarus company performing projects with use of the technologies corresponding to the international quality standard of ISO 9001:2008 and the having wide experience in implementation of large projects became the partner in implementation.

Abramov Maxim Vladimirovich, the chief engineer of GP NO "Nizhegorodpassazhiravtotrans", the project manager, – "When implementing the project it was important to transfer us consistently and without serious consequences all divisions to work in a system, new to them. The project was performed step by step, according to the scheduled plan developed jointly – specialists 1C-Rarus and GP NO "Nizhegorodpassazhiravtotrans"".

At a stage of express inspection the conceptual model of future system was made, the architecture of implementation is offered, the priority and the sequence of implementation of subsystems are defined and also the preliminary schedule is made.

Within a pilot project a system was implemented in Head-office and branch – NPAP No. 1, and only then is replicated on NPAP No. 6 and NPAP No. 7 branches.

Implementation of a new information system allowed to integrate work of staff of Head-office and branches – the managements, accounting, department of operation, ticket offices, department of traffic safety, technological department, department of logistics, economical department, a repair zone and technical inspection department. 400 jobs are automated.

Between systems in Head-office and branches at an interval of 1 hour there is automatic data exchange that allows the management of the enterprise to have always up-to-date information on the current activity.

A system allowed:

  • Centralize account policy of the enterprise.
  • Unify the normative reference information on all branches.
  • Increase transparency of material flows and transactions in supply chains, and also information on warehouse stocks.
  • Standardize accounting function within Head department on the basis of accounting in a common information space.
  • Increase transparency of the actual accounting (costs/revenue).
  • Consolidate the reporting under branches, types of activity, cost types.
  • Automate planning processes and budgetings.
