The Exacq Technologies company announced in April, 2012 release of the new software product from family of platforms of management of video exacqVision — exacqVision edge. The full-function exacqVision edge server is started directly on the terminal unit of a video surveillance system — on the IP camera, without requiring at the same time existence in the system of the central video recorder or the separate server.
The product exacqVision edge provides to the user centralized operation and monitoring. It can be integrated with applications Active Directory and LDAP and also with many other services and systems, such as ACS, POS/ATM, the systems of recognition of the state numbers of cars and services of the analysis of video. Access to live and archive video from the IP camera is provided using the client application exacqVision available to different platforms, including Windows, Linux and Mac.
