ExacqVision 4.7

ExacqVision is the platform of management of video on the basis of OS Windows, Linux, Mac. ExacqVision 4.7 reaches new level, thanks to ability to integrate from ATM/POS terminals and improvement of authorization of the client. Significant changes concerned the page of search and the Add System window.

There were exacqReplay function updates (function of record of a videoarchive on a CD disk), management systems for corporate notifications on events and also that is important, the interface of corporate users. In addition ExacqVision 4.7 supports IQinVision audio streams (only H.264 format) and can even adjust screenshots of cameras with FishEye lenses: for example, cameras ImmerVision and Sentry 360 or cameras AllView of development of IPera company.

Transformations concerned not only VMS platforms – Exacq Technologies updated the calculator of storage systems.

2012

ExacqVision 4.9

The new version is available in modifications of exacqVision Start, Pro and Enterprise, can be set on the exacqVision IP servers, hybrid and also servers of third-party production. Release 4.9 received a number of new features, changes and improvements:

• Function of search in sketches helps to trace instantly visually the necessary moment of a videoarchive, allows to scale easily and quickly time spans and also with ease to play video according to any sketch. The small size of sketches is ideal for work of clients through slow communication channels.
• Optimization of capture of video by search in a time axis is improved. Thus, when moving on an axis forward or back for search of a necessary point, video remains in the client's cache that can be useful during the work through slow communication channels.
• New opportunities of the videowall allow to switch between types. The types configured by the user on the videowall can change depending on operation of triggers of the movement, alarm or a serial port.
• In the client application of version 4.9 work of GPU thanks to optimization of work of Direct3D and OpenGL is accelerated. Speed of display of video on the client PC is accelerated approximately for 75% – it became smoother. Changes concerned client applications for Windows platforms, Linux and Macintosh.
• The program triggers (determined by the user of an event) can be integrated with cards now. Icons of transactions of access control (for example, opening of doors), signals from video analytics and other events can be placed on the card. It is possible to observe events and to manage them directly on the card, using the PSIM functions.
• The functionality of S.M.A.R.T is available to all servers working under control of exacqVision 4.9 now. (Self-Monitoring, Analysis and Reporting Technology is technology of own monitoring, the analysis and reports). S.M.A.R.T. – monitoring and also use of qualitative disks of Enterprise-level allows to trace parameters of their technical condition and to predict failures in their work.
• The exacqVision platform supports a number of new models of IP cameras from different producers now. Among them there is DS-2CD876BF and DS-2CD7153-E from Hikvision, Vivotek FE-8171V with a lens like "fish eye" and ACTi KCM-3911. Besides, there was a support of the network Axis video recorders of lines of P72 and M70.
• For work with the exacqVision 4.9 platform there was a specialized additional keyboard facilitating search and navigation between cameras, control of the videowall and also the PTZ functions.

2013

ExacqVision 5.0

Each of flows can be configured on the different picture frequency, permission and the quality level that is the ideal solution under, for example, condition of remote viewing on limited capacity of connection, and further preserving of video of high resolution on the server. Depending on model of the ip-video camera about 4 flows can be selected.

The fact that the new software of exacqVision 5 is in a special way integrated with some models of the cameras Arecont Vision is important, allowing to record up to eight "areas of interest" (ROI) in video flows, implementing thereby all advantages of a multi-megapixel system. With multistreaming of exacqVision all flows from the camera can be written, saved in the Type and also are available to search, export and reproduction. And for this purpose no additional licenses will be required.

Multistreaming is supported for 240 models of cameras (slightly after their quantity will increase), including such producers as Axis, Arecont Vision, Panasonic and ACTi. In own line of exacqVision multistreaming is supported in versions of Pro, Enterprise and Edge.

Moreover, in the new version there is a start and work of the exacqVision-client with a full support of the multithreaded processor providing smoothness and smoothness of display of video much quicker. Now the speed of the client application is up to 6 times quicker, than earlier. Sweep rate of files is similarly increased by 200%, and the new feature of Auto Export, upgraded version of exacqRecall, allows to make automatic backup on the basis of the cameras selected by the user in storage location necessary to the user.

Also the range of search of cameras using the joystick of a management system was expanded and the PTZ interface for convenience of using and navigation of preset is simplified to a separate window. The increased performance level of a system does not depend on the operating system of the client, whether it be Windows, Linux or OSX. In addition exacqVision Edge supporting in addition to the cameras AXIS IP also of IQeye and ISD was fully presented at an exhibition.

• video email event: sending the preview of video or link to the Web server by e-mail
• multiple search in serial ports: search in more than one consecutive data source at the same time

• support of multithreaded data transmission for IP video cameras of Sony, Vivotek and 6 models from Gen
• support of new models of ACTi IP video cameras of the D, E series, and KSM, Samsung of series 6000, Ganz PixelPro, Arecont Vision of the Megaball and MegaDome series
• expanded integration into Vivotek IP video cameras for exacqVision Edge

2014

exacqVision 6.6

Exacq Technologies published in December, 2014 version 6.6 of the software for video surveillance systems of exacqVision Video Management (VMS). The main attention was paid to detection of failure of the server and its automatic recovery and also integration into more than 100 new models of cameras.

Besides ESM Failover, a number of improvements for EasyConnect, the system of viewings, monitoring of events, detection of network hacking and SpeedSearch for the Mobile Client application are added.

The Enterprise System Manager (ESM) Failover function gives the chance of detection of failure of the server within 15-30 seconds (the interval can vary) and also provides the high level of availability of crucial data of a system of security video surveillance that allows to avoid idle times in the conditions of permanent monitoring of recorders regarding possible failures, automatic movement of functionality of "spare" servers in cases of failure of the basic and in the manual mode of service of registrars.

It should be noted that Failover does not change the network identifier of the protected or spare registrar to prevent duplication of the IP addresses. Besides, the reserve server of storage should not match protected, and just provide the sufficient volume of space for the expected downtime.

The EasyConnect function gives the chance to users to perform search and automatic addressing of certain IP cameras of network. The client application exacqVision performs scanning of network for determination of new devices, sends to users the page of a configuration of the camera and also the link to diagnostics of its connection that simplifies process even more.

The updated monitoring of events provides instant reaction to the events preset to a system, displaying video.

The Brute Force function detects and levels attempts of hacker network hacking.

The SpeedSearch function is available also in applications to mobile devices now: the user has a search capability according to video without the need for its downloading that is ideal option in the conditions of low network transmission capacity (3G, 4G, LTE).

Enterprise System Manager of version 3.0 can be used for management of one user of several exacqVision servers now, saving at the same time access rights for synchronization and permission of the user conflicts. Besides, all users can be distributed in groups for more convenient management. One more new feature includes an opportunity to automate the client's configurations, import of systems in the client application installed for each user.

The software of exacqVision 6.6 is integrated with more than 100 new IP video cameras and also passed about 450 tests as a result of which the number of the supported cameras grew till 2200.

2015

By software of video surveillance of ExacqVision it is integrated into Illustra line

On February 27, 2015 the Exacq Technologies company announced mutual integration of software of ExacqVision with the basic line of Illustra IP video cameras from American Dynamics company.

The solution is designed to become an easy and convenient way for the organization of network video surveillance with the high level of clearness.

The model Illustra line is provided by series of devices:

The Pro series – the cameras providing high-quality video in the conditions of bad illumination:

• automatic quality improvements in a zone of the detected persons
• detection of blur in a frame with an announcing signal.

ExacqVision 6.8

exacqVision 6.8, 2015

March 18, 2015. Exacq Technologies submitted version 6.8 of the software for video surveillance systems of exacqVision Video Management (VMS). The main attention was paid to the VideoPush functions for the Exacq Mobile and EasyConnect application. Besides, integration into more than 75 new cameras and 250 new test sheets is carried out. Now exacqVision VMS supports nearly 2300 models of IP video cameras now.

The EasyConnect function gives the chance to users to perform search and automatic addressing of certain IP cameras of network. The client application improved several times makes scanning of network for determination of new devices then the user in several clicks appoints the IP addresses and makes connection to the server that saves time and considerably simplifies process of the organization of video surveillance: the administrator has no need of use of additional utilities, and connection of cameras is made equally just as for digital, and analog. Complete scanning (including subnets) takes in a half less time now and does not enter the conflict with other services using ports of detection. Besides, users have a possibility of use 64-bit versions of exacqVision for the Windows operating system by standard installation of the new application version now. A number of improvements of exacqVision 6.8 includes also a possibility of creation of logical cameras of group and other devices connected with one or several a system that will become the fine choice in case of territorially scattered video surveillance system, for example, in different local zones of the multi-storey building.

VideoPush, 2015

The VideoPush function allowing users to transfer instantly display of the selected cameras, layouts, tours, groups or the whole views of the monitor of other client is available also to mobile application of Exacq Mobile now. Now video can be remotely sent to different net surfers to the mobile device.

Mobile application, in turn, also had a number of additional opportunities:

• support of a format of video compression of H.264/MPEG-4 for mobile devices of devices IOS, Android, and Windows in the stream or transkodirovany modes that significantly saves resources of network.
• a number of changes for convenience of management on touch devices
• watching video from group of cameras
• big support of technical capabilities of the video surveillance system constructed on exacqVision, including inclusion and switching off of cameras and adding of new devices.

The Enterprise System Manager (ESM) function version 3.2 performs automatic backup of a configuration of several video recorders at once from which information will be saved on the ESM server: at its pomoshchiya early more effective settings of a system can be recovered.

Also ESM 3.2 you can filter these events from start several notifications, using new "lasts at least," governed. It guarantees that duration of events proceeds long enough to guarantee notifications.

Often arising short events can lead to hundreds and even thousands of letters with notifications. Using ESM 3.2 you can filter sending notifications on these events using the new rule "Lasts Not Less". It will help to limit sending notifications only for long events.

Now the user can edit settings of all servers in the ESM list with a new option mass changes, including removals of all servers in the list.
