2020: Revocation of license

On December 4, 2020 the Central Bank of the Russian Federation announced revocation of license of the Moscow Euroasian investment bank which on the value of assets took the 312th place in a banking system of Russia.

The regulator explained the decision on the termination of a license for banking operations with the fact that the Euroasian investment bank broke the laws regulating banking activity. For the last year the Central Bank repeatedly applied measures to credit institution.

The Central Bank revoked the license from the Euroasian investment bank

Since 2017 the Euroasian investment bank is mainly unprofitable, otmecht the regulator. The plan of recovery of financial stability provided by credit institution upon the demand of supervisory authority repeatedly was sent to completion because the actions provided by it were recognized as insufficient and unrealizable.

Due to the unsatisfactory quality of management the Euroasian Investment Bank had bases for the termination of the right to attraction in deposits of funds of individuals and on opening and maintaining bank accounts of individuals. Considering the involvement of the main beneficiary of credit institution and the companies under control of it into judicial proceedings and also potential growth of losses, the perspective of further activity of the Euroasian investment bank was absent — the Central Bank summarizes.

In  the Euroasian nvestitsionny bank the temporary administration of the Central Bank which will work  until appointment of the receiver  or the liquidator is appointed. Powers of executive bodies of credit institution  according to  federal laws are suspended.

The credit institution participated in deposit insurance system therefore deposit amounts will be returned to clients in the amount of 100 percent of balance, but no more than 1.4 million rubles in total on one investor (taking into account the accrued deposit interests).[1]

2015

2013: Opening of the Tula branch

Since 2013 LLC CB Euroasian Investment Bank is provided also in Tula region. In January, 2013 the Tula bank branch is registered. Existence of natural wealth, fertile lands, a powerful industrial complex, high scientific and technical and also considerable tourist potential allow to consider area as one of the perspective directions of development of Bank.

1994: Registration in the Central Bank of the Russian Federation

The Euroasian Investment Bank commercial bank (Limited liability company) is registered in the Central Bank the Russian Federation (Bank of Russia) on June 10, 1994 (registration number 2897 according to the Book of state registration of credit institutions of the Bank of Russia).
