O7. Business

On May 15, 2012 Rostelecom companies, Microsoft and 1C provided a cloud service "to O7. Business", one of the first cloud services available to users of the National cloud platform already today.

This service is intended for the enterprises of small and medium business, budgetary institutions and also public authorities and local government. It allows the organizations to reach significant economy on the maintenance of own IT infrastructure.

The user of service has an opportunity to automate at once some of the major business processes: accounting, maintaining customer base, analysis of sales, document flow, logistics and communications. Moreover, service "O7. Business" provides the user with modern tool kit on work with documents and the management of communications from Microsoft including:

• means for work with documents in the familiar formats Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft OneNote;
• corporate e-mail of a business class with functions of the calendar, tasks, synchronization of contacts and a possibility of the organization of joint work based on Microsoft Exchange;
• corporate portal for joint work based on Microsoft SharePoint.

Within "O7. Business" is possible access to application solutions of service "1C:Enterprise 8 via the Internet":

• 1C: Budget Institution Accounting 8;
• 1C: Accounting 8;
• 1C: Small Business Management 8;
• 1C-KAMIN: salary (salary and personnel of private enterprise).

The agreement of intent on cooperation in plot area of the national open platform for rendering cloud services in Russia was signed by Rostelecom, Microsoft and 1C in September, 2011 within the Sochi economic forum.

Joint efforts of the companies on development of cloud services in Russia were crowned with success: service "O7. Business" became result of the stated cooperation.

"O7. Business" - a New Year's gift from Rostelecom to medium and small business

Cloud service for medium and small business "O7. Business" will be started in the middle of December, 2012. Journalists were reported about it on November 30, 2012 by the vice president for the innovative development Rostelecom Alexey Nashchekin.

According to him, testing and debugging of a system is now made.

"After new year redesign of the website will be made, the new version for business which will become available to alpha testing is released", - it continued.

"O7. Business and all this that is necessary for the small company. There enter the accounting program "1C. Juice", CRM from ASoft", - Alexey Nashchekin concluded.

Rostelecom curtails free distribution of 1C and MS Office from a cloud

On April 25, 2013 Rostelecom announced the beginning of sales of the first two cloud services for SMB -My Warehouse and the CRM systemof "Asoft" - within O7 Business service, available on the portal of a national cloud platform. At the end of May the virtual office Microsoft and "1C: Enterprise" will also join them [1].

As explained TAdviser in Rostelecom, within beta testing "O7 Business", begun in May, 2012, cloud services were provided to business free of charge.

"Now, when we already tested cloud services and understood that interest in these services in the market ripened, we brought them into commercial operation", - told TAdviser in the company, having added that decided to be focused first of all on the most demanded services.

Other components "O7 Business", in addition to "my Warehouse" and CRM, for the period of transfer from the beta to commercial temporarily became visible on the website of a cloud platform, however clients continue by them to use, representatives of Rostelecom say.

Payment of SaaS services within "Business" is implemented by O7 on a credit system, and for the existing clients of Rostelecom the service will join in the monthly account.

Rostelecom also tells that until the end of 2013 are going to start more than 10 cloud products on the website of a cloud platform and further to increase their number. According to representatives of the company, it considers the cloud direction for itself as strategic and is going to reach a leading position in the SaaS segment for SMB.

"We are faced by a difficult task of formation of this market almost from scratch since today only very small amount of such companies use cloud solutions", - the chief executive - the director of work with corporate and state segments of Rostelecom Olga Rumyantseva considers.

Software for cloud services Rostelecom places all on own IT infrastructure constructed using technology of virtualization and located in specially equipped and geographically distributed DPCs in the territory of Russia.
