The Vester retail network in Orenburg implements the solution of automation of trade

The 1C-Rarus company continues the project of automation based on "1C-Rarus: Shopping complex. Food products, edition 8" the shopping facilities entering into FS "Vester".

In 2005 the Vester company signed the agreement on long-term cooperation in complex automation of Network with data center "1C-Rarus". As the automation system the solution "1C-Rarus was selected: Shopping complex. Food products, edition 8", "1C:Enterprise 8" developed on a technology platform.

By the time of opening of new hypermarket in Orenburg the software product "1C-Rarus: Shopping complex. Food products of edition 8" it was already implemented at 850 checkout and 2000 jobs of a back office in Federal network.

Solution

Information system based on "1C-Rarus: Shopping complex. Food products, edition 8" allowed the management of hypermarket:

• solve volume and labor-consuming problems of assortment management, bonus payments, to corporate planning and the reporting;
• conduct component analysis of goods, planning of marketing stocks and the analysis of sales pattern;
• reach the maximum level of service for the centralized administration of network.

The standard solution provides the high transmission rate of databases, routing of data streams in Federal 4th-level retail chain stores: specialists 1C-Rarus developed the subsystem of exchanges allowing to separate transmitted data into several information flows depending on importance degree; the mechanism of control of the size of data packets is created.

Result

As a result the federal network "Vester" has the reliable and flexible full-function management system for extensive retail chain stores capable to include new objects with a record speed.
