ELAR digitized more than 20 thousand documents for State Museum of the History of Religion

ELAR corporation completed a complex of the works on creation of insurance copies of museum pieces from Scientific and Historical Archive fund of State Museum of the History of Religion. The digitized array represents about 25,000 pages of documents of external bodies, protocols of Councils, personal records.

By means of the specialized equipment of ELAR Planskan "With" 193 affairs were scanned. The most part of an array consists of old documents a format from A5 to A3 with the faded and torn pages. They are executed on a different basis: writing-book sheets, thin paper, tracing-paper. The contactless method of scanning and lighting without infrared and ultraviolet light provided the most delicate address with originals.

Earlier ELAR corporation carried out works on scanning of collections of graphics, negatives, the Tibetan books and documents of GMIR archive. Forces of corporation also digitized the paper directory of scientific library of the museum and insurance copies of exhibits from Fototeka fund are created.
