Centrify Corporation announced in June, 2012 a release of the industry-first solution for security of mobile devices on the basis of a cloud technology which is completely integrated into AD – Centrify DirectControl for Mobile.
Thanks to integration with a new cloud service of Centrify Cloud Service, clients will be able to allow the employees to use personal mobile devices for office needs, having ensured safety the centralized control of smartphones and tablet computers, including iPad and Android devices, having made them a part of the existing Active Directory infrastructure, with observance of all rules and security policies. Preliminary testing of this Mobile Device Management (MDM) of the solution by hundreds of the companies successfully confirmed its reliability and simplicity of deployment.
DirectControl and Centrify Express for Mobile are the Centrify Suite 2012 components that provides their seamless integration with the existing infrastructure of AD and use of usual management tools by group politicians for deployment of mobile security. The solutions Centrify have all necessary functionality, since remote blocking and cleaning of mobile devices, protection of access to corporate e-mail and the configured rules of creation of passwords, to mechanisms of reassignment of devices and users, management of the accompanying functions and parameters for each device separately. Deep integration with AD allows to manage mobile devices as its elements, providing control automation with certificates of PKI and politicians through standard means of a directory service of AD.
