2017: Documents of the last Russian empress

From the moment of opening by ELAR corporation on April 26, 2017 exhibitions "Last empress. Photos and documents", exposure were visited by more than 3,000 people. The ELAR non-commercial project organized with assistance of the State archive of the Russian Federation (HECTARE of the Russian Federation) and Federal Archival Agency is implemented in the Archive of the 21st Century format and devoted to life of the empress Aleksandra Fiodorovna Romanova.

The space of an exhibition, unique for the archive industry, is expanded to the Internet: authors of the project organize search and access to documents and photos via the portal. All fund of documents of Aleksandra Fiodorovna Romanova which can be studied independently is uploaded to the website http://reader.garf.su/. "The site from the date of opening was visited by more than 7,000 unique users, - the head of department of external communications of ELAR corporation Zhanna Kirillova says. - The documents concerning tragic life and death of the last Russian empress study not only in Russia. The geography of the user interest covers a set of the countries and almost all continents".

Authentic documents and photos, diaries and notebooks attract genuine interest of visitors, and as the director of HECTARE of the Russian Federation Larisa Rogovaya notes, "at an exhibition telegrams, working documents, diaries and correspondence of Aleksandra Fiodorovna and the emperor Nicholas II are shown. They loved each other really, letters transfer gentle and cordial relations of pair. In show-windows of halls visitors see the children's drawings of Crown Prince Alexey, black-and-white photographs made by members of imperial family and professional photomasters". Electronic copies of each document are annotated and presented with convenient navigation and in the intuitive interface on tachskrinpanelyakh, the most part of personal correspondence of the empress with Nicholas II is complemented with transfers and is shown for the first time.

2016

According to the results of open auction of Federal Archival Agency ELAR corporation acquired the right to execution of works on the translation of inventories of group of funds of federal state archives in a format of electronic databases. ELAR will process inventories from funds of the State Archive of the Russian Federation (SARF), the Russian State Archive of Economy (RSAE) and the Russian State Archive of Socio-political History (RSASPH).

Works are carried out within the federal target program "Culture of Russia 2012-2018" for the purpose of increase in employee performance of archives with citizens' appeals and a possibility of an information access about documents of federal archives via the Internet. The explanatory notes in an electronic format consisting of 1,400,000 headings of archivings will be as a result created.

Let's remind, earlier ELAR corporation won an auction on execution of works for the translation of inventories of group of funds of regional state archives in a format of electronic databases. ELAR will process inventories from archives of the Kirov, Tomsk, Tula, Novosibirsk regions, Stavropol Krai and also organizations of the Udmurt Republic, Tyva and Khakassia.
