2016: Stalin's notes in open access

The declassified documents from Stalin fund which are stored in the Russian State Archive of Socio-political History (RSASPH) are digitized by ELAR corporation. Materials are available on the website "Documents of the Soviet Era" of Federal Archival Agency.

Shorthand reports of meetings of the All-Russian meeting of party workers, speeches, notes and draft copies of records of I.V. Stalin, materials and reports of plenums of the Central Committee of the All-Union Communist Party (bolsheviks), a shifrotelegramma, the solution, the declaration and the offer of Executive committee of the Communist International and other documents were scanned in RGASPI on planetary scanners of the ELAR Planskan brand.

In addition the array representing not stitched sheets A4 completed with the text or A5 more than 190 cards were scanned. For digitization of some of them the complex of planetary scanning of superbig originals of ELAR Pauerskan of series 8A0 created in 2015 for project implementation "Memory of the people" when processing large cards from archives of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation was used. "Unique cartographic materials of format 8A0 which can be digitized in high quality are also stored in RGASPI and without risk to damage only using the device developed by our company", - the deputy manager of department on work with archives of ELAR corporation Alexander Komissarov told. All cards contain hand-written marks of I.V. Stalin, and first of all "autographs" of the Soviet leader do these documents by unique sources for historians.

In a project deliverable on the website "Documents of the Soviet Era" descriptions of affairs and electronic copies of documents in thematic complexes "KOMINTERN became available. Communist International (Komintern, the III International) 1919-1943" and "Personal fund of I.V. Stalin".

2015: Documents of the State committee of defense of the USSR are digitized

Creation of fund of use to documents of fund 644 which are stored in the Russian State Archive of Socio-political History (RSASPH) is complete.

Unique documents of the Extraordinary highest state authority which had in the period of the Great Patriotic War all completeness of the power in the country - "The state committee of defense of the USSR" are digitized. Electronic copies of the well-known documents will be available on the website "Documents of the Soviet Era" now. Digitization of materials will allow not only to make them available to a wide range of researchers and users, but also to save originals, having withdrawn them from circulation.

To perform work on transfer to an electronic form of materials in volume of 205,000 sheets in RGASPI the digitization section equipped with six planetary scanners of the Elar Planskan With brand was unrolled. As the most part of documents in unsatisfactory, worn-out, a status, at digitization were used technologies of contactless scanning which ensure physical safety of originals, exclude their physical damage. "Elar Planskan With" is a scanner of A2 format, without lighters excluding a flare of documents. Besides, the equipment has an opportunity to transfer to an electronic form documents with the angle of disclosure <120º.

For RGASPI creation of fund of use to documents of fund 644 will significantly facilitate work with citizens' appeals, work of users with this historical information, demand by which in a year of the 70 anniversary of the Victory will significantly grow.

2012: ELAR acquired the right to execution of works on the translation of inventories of group of funds of federal state archives in a format of electronic databases

According to the results of open auction of Federal Archival Agency ELAR corporation acquired the right to execution of works on the translation of inventories of group of funds of federal state archives in a format of electronic databases. ELAR will process inventories from funds of the State Archive of the Russian Federation (SARF), the Russian State Archive of Economy (RSAE) and the Russian State Archive of Socio-political History (RSASPH).

Works are carried out within the federal target program "Culture of Russia 2012-2018" for the purpose of increase in employee performance of archives with citizens' appeals and a possibility of an information access about documents of federal archives via the Internet. The explanatory notes in an electronic format consisting of 1,400,000 headings of archivings will be as a result created.

Let's remind, earlier ELAR corporation won an auction on execution of works for the translation of inventories of group of funds of regional state archives in a format of electronic databases. ELAR will process inventories from archives of the Kirov, Tomsk, Tula, Novosibirsk regions, Stavropol Krai and also organizations of the Udmurt Republic, Tyva and Khakassia.
