Mir Interstate Television and Radio Company is an integration project of the CIS countries. It was founded on October 9, 1992. The co-founders of Mir MTRK were ten post-Soviet countries: Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. Broadcasting is conducted in Russian.
The headquarters of the television company is located in Moscow. Branches of the television and radio company are located in 8 CIS countries, as well as in St. Petersburg and Vladikavkaz. The Mir MTRK also includes the Mir radio station, broadcasting in Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia and Russia, the Mir24.tv and Mirtv.ru information portals and the MIR-Teleport satellite system.
