Multimedia Holding Ltd completes telephony upgrade by implementation of modern technology development

The project of equipment of Multimedia Holding Ltd is implemented by modern means of communication within upgrade of corporate telephony of holding.

The Multimedia Holding company has a branched layered design therefore IT specialists approached implementation of complex retrofitting with all thoroughness. As a single telecommunication platform for service of all divisions and radio stations of holding the 3CX Phone System IP PBX was selected. The license of telephone exchange is purchased at the official distributor of 3CX in Russia, ICE Partners company. The new telecommunication platform is unrolled on a virtual hypervisor of VMware of ESXi 5.0 and integrated in itself all subscribers of holding.

Solution

In implementation process of the project the equipment meeting the modern IP telephony standards is picked up. Virtual station 3CX creates reliable interaction of devices of different producers.

For the purpose of use of all advantages of the new platform, as end devices wireless Panasonic KX-TGP500 SIP telephones, wire phones of Linksys SPA 901 and Aastra 6757i with M670i expansion units, and also the modules Linksys PAP2T for connection of analog devices are connected.

The total quantity of subscribers prevysshat 100 now. The number of external lines – 20. The number of VoIP of providers – 2. The maximum quantity of calls of the received 3CX was about 3800 in 3 hours of a morning show on Our radio. Really accepted and brought in air out of them about 20, during one morning show. 3CX maintains such loadings daily. Load of virtual a host at the moments of such "storm" does not exceed 5-7%. Connection to VoIP to providers is performed, both via the normal Internet-channel, and through the selected VLAN provided by one of providers strictly for voice traffic. Functions of readdressing on cell phones and voice mail are actively used.
