Softline carried out upgrade of a mail system of CREDIT EVROPA BANK Ltd. As a result the bank received a modern failsafe system based on Microsoft Exchange Server 2010.
Start of Project
The bank continues to grow and develop that attracts increase in number of users, amounts of mailboxes, and any idle time can negatively influence business.
For the purpose of increase in level of reliability of the existing mail system implemented based on [[Microsoft Exchange Server|Microsoft Exchange Server 2007j, Department of Information technologies the CREDIT EUROPE of BANK makes the decision - to carry out migration of a system on more modern version of a product. The Softline company acted as the partner in project implementation. Within the project specialists of Softline conducted examination of the existing mail system, developed architecture of a new solution and the plan of migration for Microsoft Exchange Server 2010. In this version of a product technologies of fault tolerance are improved and an opportunity to select to users mailboxes of large volume is organized.
Solution
The project was executed by joint efforts of Bank and engineers of Softline company within three months. During this time in addition to directly upgrade of mail infrastructure by specialists mechanisms of transfer of mail data from the existing system of mail in new are developed and tested, documentation is prepared and training for IT service of the customer is provided. At the moment more than 4500 users at all offices of a branch network of Bank work with a mail system.
Result
Upgrade of a mail system allowed to increase labor productivity due to fault tolerance and availability of service and also due to providing more convenient access to users from mobile devices that allows employees to be always in touch and to solve bigger quantity of problems in a short time. In turn administrators noted convenience of work with a new system – the solution architecture changed, management and administration became even more convenient.

Thanks to implementation of Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 we solved an assigned task. After upgrade problems in a server part of service completely disappeared, availability and operability of service increased – necessary updates of a system happen without stopping service. In a project deliverable load of IT decreased and security of infrastructure increased".
