The updated server platform is implemented in an IT environment of Radio Sport

"Radio Sport" implements the IBM platform for processing of audio recordings of sports programs. The integrator in the project is Server Guide company.

Task

Due to the expansion of activity and complex upgrade of office infrastructure, radio station creation of the new IT platform answering to criteria of scalability, the maximum fault tolerance and simplicity of operation was required. The management of IT department of radio station made the decision on the choice of the IBM System x server platform of M3 model.

Opinion

"IBM aims to make category Express servers more and more available to the market and as much as possible to accelerate delivery time, - Yury Reytman, the head on business development, department of hardware of IBM in Russia and the CIS noted. – The project implemented for Radio Sport shows the effective interaction of business divisions of the customer, integrator and equipment manufacturer which allowed to implement qualitatively the project in extremely short time".

Result

Thanks to a new hardware platform on the basis of the IBM System x servers processing of nearly 20 Tb of data is provided.
