No. 4 GUSST at Federal State Unitary Enterprise Federal Agency for Special Construction (Security Studio Endpoint Protection (SSEP))

The Code of Security company announces successful product introduction of Security Studio Endpoint Protection (SSEP) in Federal State Unitary Enterprise GUSST № 4 pri Federal Agency for Special Construction, the largest construction company of the South of Russia. The project is implemented by specialists of RosIntegration LLC, the partner of Code of Security in Krasnodar.

The project on implementation of SSEP in an information system of Federal State Unitary Enterprise GUSST № 4 pri Federal Agency for Special Construction was performed in two stages:

• Installation and deployment of the administration console and agents at workstations of administrators on each of branches of the enterprise.
• Preparation of necessary configuration packets and their further application for groups of computers at the enterprise.

During project implementation the regular machine for deployment of the server of updates then the possibility of communication of this machine with network was checked was selected. The administration console was installed on the computer of a security administrator. At the second stage workstations of different departments in which the different software was applied were selected, configuration packets were made and sent to the different groups made on departments of the enterprise.

The solution SSEP was installed by specialists of RosIntegration company on more than 70 workstations on Federal State Unitary Enterprise GUSST № 4 pri Federal Agency for Special Construction and in branches of the organization. On completion of installation and the SSEP setup a number of penetration tests during which the IP addresses of the attacking machines were successfully revealed and blocked was made. Specialists of Federal State Unitary Enterprise GUSST № 4 pri Federal Agency for Special Construction noted high extent of automation of installation process that allowed to implement the implementing solution SSEP in short terms.

Implementation of SSEP did not affect the daily mode of functioning of IT infrastructure of the enterprise and also work of staff of Federal State Unitary Enterprise GUSST № 4 pri Federal Agency for Special Construction.

Ivanov, the head of information technology of Federal State Unitary Enterprise GUSST № 4 pri Federal Agency for Special Construction, noted: "The software solution of SSEP proved as the reliable and meeting all qualifying standards of the normative legal documents regulating information security support. The convenience of this means to end users, namely lack of any participation of the user in setup of means, exceeded all expectations. The intuitive interface allows to find instantly necessary settings and to change them. The centralized collecting of logs and magazines allows to conduct work on recording of events of security at the necessary level. The updating server working on the ready Web server after installation does not require serious settings and interventions, its presence at network is imperceptible. This solution without problems is integrated with other means providing complexity of data protection at the enterprise. Specialists of vendor give competent technical support. Thus, it is possible to note that SSEP is the solution suitable for networks of any enterprise which problems of data protection in IT infrastructure face. Reliability of SSEP is confirmed with FSTEC certificates of Russia on absence of NDV on the 4th level of control that also allows the enterprise to fulfill the necessary requirements of the Russian legislation in the field of data protection, including personal data".
