United Aircraft Corporation Fibersim

On July 11, 2012 the Siemens PLM Software company, division of Siemens Industry Automation Division, software supplier and services for product lifecycle management, and JSC United Aircraft Corporation (JSC OAK) announced the conclusion of the new long-term agreement which purpose is further development of mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of use Teamcenter PLM systems, and NX, an automated design engineering system and preparation of production CADCAMCAE (//) and specialized software for design of parts from composition materials Fibersim which is considered by OAK as the possible solution for design and production of parts from composition materials.

More than 15 aviation programs of JSC OAK are kept based on the software of Siemens PLM Software in the conditions of broad project and production cooperation. Within the new agreement it is expected that a number of programs using the solutions Siemens PLM Software considerably will increase in the next years.

The agreement provides creation of the working group into which representatives of Siemens PLM Software, JSC OAK and also the companies which are a part of OAK will enter. The working group will be responsible for coordination of the projects executed by Siemens PLM Software for the benefit of the OAK aviation programs. Besides, its tasks will include requirements gathering to development of functionality and coordination of works on accounting of these pozhelaniyv plans for development of the software of the developer and also development by the end of 2012 of the affiliate program for ensuring closer cooperation of Siemens PLM Software, OAK and suppliers of purchased components of the aircraft equipment.
