SAP Transportation Management in the transport FESCO group

SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM) entering functional project scope will be implemented the general contractor Technoserv Consulting for the first time in the territory of Russia and the CIS. In addition the project includes SAP ERP SAP CRM SAP HCM, SAP Netweaver Process Integration and SAP BusinessObjects.

The transport FESCO group – the largest national transport operator owning own fleet, the train, port, sea and overland terminal handlers and also an extensive network of offices in many countries of the world.

The complex automation of group of the transport and logistic companies assuming implementation of 32 interconnected projects started in 2008 and was expected four years and based on the specialized ERP solution on the OEBS platform. The transport Fesco group started in 2008 creation of a uniform corporate information system on the Oracle E-Business Suite platform. Within the project it was going to perform one of the Russia's first implementing solution Oracle Transportation Management, development of the G-Log company purchased by Oracle in 2005. However afterwards the company refused the choice of the solution Oracle Transportation Manage.

Implementation of the Corporate Automated Control System (CACS) is the most important element of strategy implementation of development of group – offers to the client of complete solutions on delivery of container loads "from a door to a door" that means creation of end-to-end business processes. As the platform for implementation of this project SAP solutions were selected.

Complex automation of group of the transport and logistic companies will include customer relationship management, management of transportations, accounting and tax accounting, the reporting under IFRS, personnel management, logistics, etc.

At the same time the SAP solution Transportation Management (SAP TM) entering functional project scope will be implemented specialists Technoserv Consulting for the first time in the territory of Russia and the CIS. The first stage of KASU is going to be brought into commercial operation in the fall of 2013.

According to preliminary estimates, net economic effect of similar improvements in the horizon of three years can be at least 20 million dollars".
