The expert center on work with the state organizations of BIT company completed implementation of the accounting system on the 1C:Enterprise 8 platform at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (university) the MFA of Russia (MGIMO).
Tasks
Account in MGIMO within several years was kept in programs based on 1C: Enterprise 7.7. Due to the change of the legislation the decision on transition to programs of 1C of the 1C:Enterprise 8 version in which relevant requirements to accounting in state institutions are implemented was made. It was necessary to transfer to the 1C:Enterprise 8 platform an accounting and inventory control, payroll calculation and grants, personnel records, settlings with students on paid training. Also it was going to implement specialized programs for management of the hostel and printing house with the purpose to increase efficiency of control over income and expenses of these divisions.
Choice and product
The project is charged to BIT company. Products"1C: Budget Institution Accounting 8", "1C: Payroll and budget institution staff 8", "1C:Enterprise 8. Operational printing" and also specialized developments of BIT company on the platform are selected from an analysis result of requirements"1C:Enterprise 8": programs"BIT: Salary and the personnel in university", "BIT: Calculation of grants", "BIT: Settlings with students", "BIT: Hostel". 60 jobs are automated.
Result of implementation of the project solution
Account of printing house which was kept manually earlier is automated. The MGIMO printing house is engaged in printing of specialized educational literature, methodical materials, scientific works. Using the program "1C:Enterprise 8. Operational printing" is executed cost accounting of polygraphic orders, account of the supplies used in the course of production of printed materials, accounting of the turned-out printed materials is kept. It allowed to make more exact costs planning on printing of circulations, to support in a warehouse the optimal inventory quantity of materials for printing.
Overall total value of the project
Accounting and inventory control, payroll calculation and grants, maintaining the staff list, settlings with students on paid training, accounting of the hostel and printing house is automated. In a project deliverable formation of the regulated reporting under the new legislation for public institutions is automated, faultless accounting of non-financial assets of MGIMO, payroll calculation for 3200 employees of university is provided. In a system 60 users work.

Natalia Ovsyannikova, the chief of tax department of MGIMO noted: "As a result of transition to 1C:Enterprise 8 we received the modern system conforming not only to requirements of the legislation, but also requirements of the university to functionality and performance. Automation helps us to prepare the reporting, to control work of warehouses, debts on training payment, to exclude errors at payroll calculation and grants. In the course of transition we could look in a new way at accounting and increase efficiency, correct errors".
