SK "SIV Life" transferred maintenance of corporate solution of SAP to outsourcing

The IBS group begins long-term cooperation with CiV Life as uniform service provider of a hosting, operation and user support of solutions on the SAP platform.

The CiV Life company which is a part of global insurance group during the work in Russia is faced by a problem of accounting and ensuring business both on Russian, and according to international standards and legislative arrangements. Relevant requirements led to considerable completions of a corporate SAP system and caused special approach to the organization of its support.

As a result of the internal tender from a large number of requests the proposal of the IBS Group was selected.

CiV Life involved the offered approach at which IBS bears complete responsibility for operability of a system, providing, including, legal and financial guarantees.

According to Dmitry Ivitsky: "The situation when the international company, working at the Russian market, completely transfers function on service of the corporate applications on outsourcing, is rather standard. Unfortunately, in Russia there are not a lot of IT companies which are capable to offer similar service at the required level, and it is rather difficult to global players to provide support of local solution. IBS already have rather wide experience of accomplishment of similar projects. Result

Today CiV Life receives a full range of services from "one window": a hosting and support of the equipment deployed in own data center of the IBS Group, service of the system server software, support of a SAP software (which IBS renders on the basis of the agreement with SAP company) and also user support and development of the implemented solution. Thus, in addition to cost reduction on personnel, CiV Life at the moment minimized infrastructure costs and risks, having an opportunity to plan expenses on support in IT on the basis of transparent market rates.
