JSC Russian Railways summed up in the summer of 2012 the results of an open request of price quotations electronically on delivery of the large-format planetary scanner. According to the results of consideration of the offer by equipment supplier ELAR corporation was selected.
The Planskan ELAR large-format planetary scanner A2-VC will be used for digitization of technical documentation in Project and design-technology bureau of railway automatic equipment and telemechanics – Russian Railway branch of JSC.
The equipment is intended for scanning of the stitched documents, including with a dense back. The scanner has function of alignment of lines in the field of a back which allows to receive pictures without distortion of quality and additional manual image processing.
