PrimeTel will receive SmartTUBE updating

The private Cyprus telecommunication company PrimeTel according to the results of the tender selected the Smartlabs platform for implementation of the innovation services.

2017: Updating

The Smartlabs company announced in September, 2017 the conclusion of the new agreement with private Cyprus telecom operator PrimeTel. The agreement provides upgrade of the existing platform for provision of services of interactive TV to the fifth version a solution multiscreen of Smartlabs of SmartTUBE and delivery of UHD prefixes of the last generation based on OS Android SML-5041.

PrimeTel will receive a full range of modern applications for smartphones and tablet computers based on iOS and Android and also new client interfaces for the available park of set-top boxes. Because the park of subscriber devices will be replenished with the latest SML-5041, the operator will be able to offer the audience an opportunity to browse UHD content and to use bonus applications.

In addition Smartlabs implements full-function 'multiscreen' for PrimeTel. Subscribers of the operator will be able freely to transfer viewing content from the existing hybrid DVB-T IP of the prefixes and new of Android devices to iOS and Android tablets and smartphones — and back!

2012: Start

The Smartlabs company signed the contract with the Cyprian operator PrimeTel for delivery of the solution including the platform of rendering services of digital SmartTube SDP TV, a complex of monitoring SmartSPY and the hybrid SML-303 Hybrid prefixes.

Using the solution Smartlabs the PrimeTel PLC company is going to strengthen significantly the positions in the market of a pay TV of Cyprus. The operator selected the solution Smartlabs as it as much as possible meets needs of the operator regarding project implementation of hybrid TV and also taking into account experience of Smartlabs in creation, support and development of complex projects of interactive television in Europe.
