The Kaustik holding protects corporate network from inappropriate external content

Softline implemented the system of web filtering in JSC Kaustik holding.

Before IT service of the enterprise there was a question of protection of employees against an inappropriate content on the Internet. The company management made the decision on attraction to the project of Softline company.

Interaction within the project began with the preliminary analysis and comparison of solutions of web filtering of three producers from which only one conformed to all requirements of the customer – Cisco IronPort Web Security. The engineering command of Softline developed the optimal scheme of implementation of the selected product, made necessary settings according to security policies of the client. Specialists held pilot testing of the solution in infrastructure of the customer during whom IronPort Web Security proved as the effective and flexible software allowing to configure difficult processing rules and blocking of traffic.

Result

The implemented system of safe content management allowed the company to control all information streams transferred and received from the Internet and also to be protected from viruses and undesirable applications.
