2025: Russian President Vladimir Putin transferred Air Liquide assets in Russia under the management of M-Logistics
Russian President Vladimir Putin transferred the assets of the French chemical company Air Liquide in Russia under the temporary management of M-Logistics. Information in August 2025 follows from the decree of the head of state. 523.5 thousand shares of Air Liquide Russie in Logia JSC and 555 thousand shares of Air Liquide Russie in Er Likid Severstal JSC fell under management, 100% stake of Air Liquide Russie in the authorized capital of Sever Likvid Gas LLC, LLC Er Likid, LLC Er Likid Alabuga, LLC Er Likid Balakovo, LLC Er Likid Kstovo, LLC Er Likid Kuzbass, LLC El Likid Lipetsk and LLC Er Likid Ryazan[1]
2022: Transfer of Russian ir Liquide business to local managers
In early September 2022, the French chemical company Air Liquide announced its withdrawal from the Russian market. The relevant assets are transferred to local managers.

Air Liquide ceased its work in Russia on September 1, 2022. The company said in a statement that there were 720 employees in the country. Russia accounts for less than 1% of total revenue. By selling its assets to Russian managers, the company seeks to ensure "continuous supply of oxygen to hospitals," it said.
In March 2022, the Le Figaro newspaper reported that French President Emmanuel Macron met with 15 representatives of large French business who work in Russia and advised them not to rush to leave the Russian market. At the same time, he noted that Paris, following the EU and the United States, will impose new sanctions against Moscow.
Air Liquide signed a memorandum of understanding with Rosatom to study the possibility of building a hydrogen production complex on Sakhalin with a capacity of up to 100 thousand tons per year, the state corporation has already said that it will continue the project on its own, and the agreement with Air Liquide has expired and the parties will not renew it.
Air Liquide is dedicated to producing gases, developing technology and providing services for industry and healthcare. By September 2022, Air Liquide is represented in 78 countries. Air Liquide operates 18 production sites in key regions in Russia.[2]
