Kozhin Vladimir Igorevich is the former head of the Presidential Property Management Department of the Russian Federation.

Biography

Was born on February 28, 1959 in Troitsk of Chelyabinsk region, Russia.

Education

1976-1982 - the student of the Leningrad electrotechnical institute of V.I. Ulyanov (Lenin) (LETI). Upon termination of institute received profession of the engineer.

Defended the thesis in the subject "Pulse Responses of High-voltage Transistors on the basis of Weakly-doped Arsenide of Gallium".

1999 - graduated from Northwest academy of public service.

Career

1982-1986 - the instructor and the head of department of the Petrograd district committee of the All-Union Leninist Young Communist League (Leningrad).

1986-1989 - the engineer, the senior engineer and the chief specialist of NPO Azimouth.

1989-1990 - trained in Germany at the Higher business school of Academy of foreign trade.

1990 - created department of foreign economic relations in NPO Azimouth.

1991 - the director of the Russian-Polish joint venture Azimut International Ltd.

1993-1994 - the CEO of Association of joint ventures of St. Petersburg.

1994 - the chief of the Northwest regional center of Federal service of Russia for currency and export exchange control (FSVEK of Russia).

On September 20, 1999 - the head of Federal service of Russia on currency and export exchange control (Moscow).

On January 12, 2000 - the head of department affairs of the Russian President^[1]. Under Kozhin's control there were more than 60,000 employees, more than 100 enterprises and organizations, including the Kremlin and some other government buildings and also more than 4000 cars. Since 2014 Kozhin appears in the American list of persons and the organizations to which visa bans and freezing of assets are applied.

In May, 2014 it is dismissed heads of department by affairs of the Russian President and appointed to the position of the Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation.

Since September 26, 2007 - the member of council and the member of presidium of Council under the President of the Russian Federation for development of physical culture and sport, elite sport, preparation and holding XXII Winter Olympic games and the XI winter Paraolimpiysky games of 2014 in Sochi^[7].

Since December 5, 2007 - the member of Organizing committee for preparation and ensuring presidency of the Russian Federation in the forum "Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation" in 2012^[8].

Since 2007 - the member of Organizing committee for preparation and ensuring presidency of the Russian Federation in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in 2008-2009^[9].

October 30, 2006 - An order "For Merit to the Fatherland" 2nd Class - for a big contribution to preparation and meeting of heads of state and government of member countries of "Group of eight" in the city of St. Petersburg.

August 6, 2007 - Gratitude of the President of the Russian Federation - for active participation in work on providing a victory of the request of the city of Sochi for the right of holding the XXII winter Olympic and XI Paralympic Games in 2014.

2007 - Order of St. Sergius of Radonezh 2 class (ROC).

October 15, 2009 - An order "For Merit to the Fatherland" 4th Class - for a big contribution to reconstruction of monuments of historical and cultural heritage, creation of objects of federal importance in the city of St. Petersburg.

February 16, 2009 - The certificate of honor of the President of the Russian Federation - for a big contribution to ensuring activity of the President of the Russian Federation and long-term fair work.

2010 - Prize "For Support of Theater of Russia" of the National theatrical award "Golden Mask".

Interesting Facts

In 1993 it was offered to Vladimir Kozhin to head Association of joint ventures, and afterwards and to hold a congress of entrepreneurs. Then Vladimir Igorevich it was engaged in lobbying in Russia of interests of major western companies and enterprises.

Initiated the project "Kremlevsky federal complex worth 300 million dollars, Kremlevsky trading house ("a presidential epicure").

Prohibited privatization of deputy apartments and dachas.

The spouse is a stomatologist, worked as the dental technician, then gained the diploma of the psychologist, is fond of painting (wrote a portrait of a dog – a black Labrador, the relative presidential Horses),^[10] is on friendly terms with the singer Alla Pugacheva^[10].

According to oppositional Novaya Gazeta in 2009 allegedly bought 77,100 sq.m. of the land on the picturesque coast of the Moskva River in 25 km from the capital at the price of $50 for a hundred part (thus that the actual cost of a hundred part in this area - from $50000)^[11]
