Fabasoft Folio

Fabasoft Folio is a tool for creation, management, storage and archiving of electronic documentation and official papers of the enterprise (Enterprise Content Management, Records Management, Case Management) and also for the structured and informal cooperation (Workflow). Fabasoft is certified according to the European standard of management of records (Records Management Standard) MoReq2.

Depending on use option the product can be both is flexibly adapted for needs of the customer and used in finished form.

Platforms both on Windows, and on Linux are supported (SOA - "Service Oriented Architecture'). The user interface is constructed by the principle of AJAX. Connection by a network drive is available. Support of a directory service, e.g. Microsoft Windows Active Directory or LDAP. Authorization through in OS the put identification (e.g. Kerberos).

The user can be allocated with several roles. One role can be appropriated to several users. Is controlled the administrator. Access rights to objects are granted on the basis of ACL (Access Control List)

Data storage is implemented by the principles of Single-instance storage and Content-addressable storage – economy of the place of storage, copies do not take an occasional seat.

Using the built-in browser of PDF Xchange summaries in documents are possible: notes, printing, selection and retouching. The changed document remains separately. Recovery of original form of the document by the addressing earlier saved version.

Archiving of these third-party applications when using the driver of printing of Folio, importing happens directly in Folio data warehouse. Converting of the PDF format in the archive PDF/A format is supported. Archiving of data from Microsoft SharePoint in Folio storage (import of metadata and access rights) and access from the Microsoft SharePoint interface to the documents created in Folio. Archiving is possible the integrated third products EMC ² Centera, NetApp SnapLock, or other product via the iArchive interface.

The configured scenarios are available to email archiving, for example what folders of incoming messages or types of letters should be archived. The additional application allows archiving of mail directly from MS Outlook or Lotus Notes (the last with the choice to copy or move).

Integration with SAP

Integration of SAP iArchive is implemented at the level, unavailable to competitors, with parameter more than 2 million archived documents per hour that is confirmed with the appropriate certificate.

Scanning of documents

Any (separately licensed) third-party product of scanning and image capture capable to save the digitized information on a local hard drive is suitable for scanning. Thus, attaching Folio a local disk direct transfer in Folio storage with basic indexation of the digitized documents is possible. Additional indexation is possible already in Folio.

Close integration with Kofax Capture for digitization of content and also function of text recognition, metadata and an image of documents (all third-party products) is implemented.

Search

Search in metadata outputs the list of results in the form of the table with properties of the found objects. Keyword-based search of an object is available. Semantic instant search with the search system Mindbreeze Enterprise, an output of results on a measure of input of a request. Adjustment of amount of the displaid results and search time, nastrivayemy reset of search at violation of these criteria.

Versifitsirovaniye

Each object in Folio supports a versifitsirovaniye, for the document, the folder or the project versions can continuously be created. Function is convenient for viewing a status of an object in certain time.

Self-synchronization

The objects defined for synchronization are copied in the local folder of the computer and are available without active connection. Locally changed data after recovery of connection are imported to Folio storage.

In the Website of the customer of Fabasoft provides a portlet of the version JSR-168 for application integration of Folio. Thus, for access to functionality of applications there is enough Internet connection.
